Five meters long USB cord produces input lag?
Hello. I wanted to connect my PC to an HDTV and my arcade stick to it but also to sit about 5m away. Will USB cable produce input lag?

Yes, it will introduce around 0.00002 seconds of additional input lag.
Spoiler
No. The length of a cable doesn't matter for input lag.

I think you're off by a few orders of magnitude - it should be around 0.03 microseconds instead of 20 microseconds ;)blizzz wrote:Yes, it will introduce around 0.00002 seconds of additional input lag.
(assuming a velocity factor of around 0.5 - no idea what the actual value for USB cables would be)

You're right. I shouldn't have taken the first google result for signal speed in a copper cable, which was given as 225,000 m/s. It's probably closer to 225,000,000 m/s.
