It uses SSE2, which is available on the Athlon 64, but not the Athlon XP. It's an excellent emulator, but still a far cry from 99% perfect IMO. Saturn emulation has come a long way, but still has a long way to go.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
Maybe that's a little high...the control is pretty laggy. However all the stuff I've run has been near 100%, only problem is 'generated' sounds/music on games like Zero 3 which don't use CDDA. All graphics, etc. intact. However the latest versions say SCSP is at 100%, I was assuming it was cause I only have 2.8 ghz that I'm having problems.
Though I'm (obviously) a non expert, please tell me if I'm talking out of my ass here.

XP Pro SP2.
1.4Ghz laptop.
The reason I mention SSF is because that is what I had to use to get Blast Wind working correctly. Both Giri Giri and Cassini (probably because Cassini is just a hack of Giri Giri) leave artifacts. Namely traces of the player's ship and some shots. Makes the game unplayable.
It's gonna be a while folks.
Oh....that 99% that keeps getting mentioned is probably the emulation of the main CPU's.

If I had a nickel for every emulator that started, looked promising, but never got to an acceptable level.... I would have a shitload of nickels.jpolz wrote:There is a new emulator still in its early stages called SaturnTV. .

And then you could go for the world record in nickel eating. ...or go blind.GaijinPunch wrote:If I had a nickel for every emulator that started, looked promising, but never got to an acceptable level....
