Thanks, Perikles (and thanks for putting them in the correct format). Chuka Taisen and maybe a couple others are out-of-date, but I'll make those edits as needed.

I also added Hacha Mecha Fighter (embarrassing it wasn't on there before).

Sure, I even got one more round!

Data East

Super Real Darwin

World: HTL-BIO-X - 10,000,000+α

Namco

Phelios

Easy
World: TEN - 864,770 - ALL - Autofire ON

Hard
World: TEN - 1,298,110 - ALL - Autofire ON

*Note: Aru-san posted a score in the appertaining thread, but I'm not sure whether he used autofire or not. Should be easy difficulty, I believe the game uses that as the default setting.

Sega

Fantasy Zone

World: NEC - 25,611,180 - Autofire ON*
Community: incognoscente - 12,880,700 - 3-2 - Autofire ON

Community: Kaiser - 8,8480,600 - 3-3 - Autofire OFF

*Note: I took the liberty to split between auto off and on here since it makes such a huge difference in this game even though there's only one score for the WR (which I assume used autofire?). There's also apparently a problem with infinite scoring.

Taito

Darius Extra

Zone X

Community: Smraedis - 9,990,940 - Autofire ON

Zone Z

Community: Perikles - 9,712,990 - Autofire ON replay

UPL

Atomic Robo-Kid

World: GMC-HIMU - 552,800 - 17

*Note: there's apparently an infinite scoring problem with this game.

Black Heart

World: RECCA-KABUSAN - 3,048,700 - 3-7 - Autofire ON
World: SYO - 2,129,900 - 3-8 - Autofire ON
World: NAA - 2,447,900 - 3-3 - Autofire OFF

Easy
Community: saucykobold - 1,068,200 - 2-2 - Autofire ON

*Note: I'm sure they split the World scores by difficulties (Easy being the default), but I have no idea which score corresponds to which difficulty since it is not noted - I'd assume the higher scores were achieved on higher difficulties? Especially the non-auto score could be anything, really.

Omega Fighter

World: CLOVER-YMN - 17,117,780 - ALL
Community: edusword - 4,108,550 - 7

That website is very old, some of those scores are outdated. A few corrections:

Code: Select all

Taito

Chuuka Taisen

World: MDX-あきにゃ - 947,500 - Autofire ON

Namco

Phelios

Easy
TEN - 866,250 - ALL - Autofire ON
Hard
TEN - 1,342,700 - ALL - Autofire ON

Sega

Fantasy Zone

World: 神奈備☆久遠さん - 99.999.990 - Autofire ON - Note: (special rule) 1 life play

UPL

Black Heart

World: AKA - 3,713,700 - ALL - Autofire ON
World: NAA - 2,447,900 - ALL - Autofire OFF

Omega Fighter

World: CLOVER-YMN - 17,175,210 - ALL

also a few Cave scores mostly from superplays:

Mushihime-sama Futari 1.5

New scores from the JHA:

Code: Select all

Deathsmiles
Follet (No EX)
World: SPE - 569,879,275

Dodonpachi DaiFukkatsu Black Label
B Type - Power
World: KAKSTR - 2,142,753,885,648 (Hibachi)

Sonic Wings
F-18
World: じうえんぱわー! - 1,579,900 (連付、ズタボロ)

Crimzon Clover NESiCA
Unlimited - Type Z
World: Seldia - 13,618,907,931,180 (No Miss)
EDIT: Not sure what the "必殺技ボタン" in the note section of the Deathsmiles score refers to. I saw OWARABI mentioning it on twitter but he didn't seem to know exactly what it was either. He seemed to think it's some kind of cheat or just a typing error. Might just be a custom button for the lock shot, who knows.
EDIT2: Yep, it was just a typo. It was supposed to be "同時押すボタン" for the custom lock shot button. Nothing to see here.

Just noticed you added most of the games, NTSC-J. Thanks for your tireless work! Did you leave Section Z out on purpose or do you plan on amending it later?

We also got a few better/new community records since last time:

Allumer

Rezon

Community: Perikles - 528,600 - ALL - Autofire ON replay

Konami

Parodius Da!

Octopus
Community: Perikles - 1,198,400 - 2-1 - Autofire ON replay

Raizing

Shippu Mahou Daisakusen/Kingdom Grandprix

Bornam
Community: Project A-Ko - 965,120 - 1-6

Chitta
Community: Project A-Ko -1,069,242 - 2-2

Honest John
Community: Project A-Ko - 471,560 - 1-5

Kickle & Laycle
Community: Project A-Ko -1,284,272 - 2-3

Success

Cotton

Community: Kino - 2,409,280 - 2-ALL - Autofire ON

Tecnosoft

Thunder Force AC

Community: PEG - 2,385,430 - ALL - Autofire ON

At least I would think so regarding autofire, but he'll say something about it if that happens to be wrong I'd imagine. :)

UPL

Omega Fighter

Community: XnoZero - 6,508,200 - ALL replay

Yeah, I've been pretty slow with the updates this week. I'm adding everything in the order it gets posted which is why I haven't added the new community scores yet.

In the mean time, some new world records:

Raiden Fighters 2 - 元団長 - Beast Wing

Image

Shikigami no Shiro 3 - OWARABI - Munchausen

Image

I think both were on the Matmouse and Daytona III streams respectively so if you were lucky you may have caught one. I don't believe the VODs were saved, though.

The Daytona III stream does save past broadcasts, but not highlights, so grab it while you can: https://www.twitch.tv/owarabi/v/71784286

It's the last run in this broadcast. Player name entered was OWA, so I think this stream is his personal stream. He's also played Strikers 1945 II and Tatsujin Oh on the stream.

Pegboy got a better Thunder Force AC score again (2,389,180).

It looks like I currently have the one and only Uchuu Senkan Gomora community score:

Perikles - 552,400 - ALL - Autofire ON replay

I believe both Project A-Ko and Kollision have 10 community records and thus should be in the ranking.

Thanks a lot for your efforts once more! :)

For the record I am using autofire for Thunder Force AC.

I really don't understand how the non-autofire WR is higher than autofire (let alone how it could possibly be achieved). Are you sure those scores shouldn't be switched? The section of the first level with the missiles seems impossible to point farm without autofire, and that accounts for 7.5K points right there.

I'm still trying to raise my score a bit more, maybe I can do a few thousand more points, I just found a few more scoring opportunities in stage 7.

I know I've been posting here an awful lot lately, but I try to atone by submitting three more games with the right colours and everything! :)

FACE

Nostradamus

World: Various players - 9,999,990
Note: possible infinite pattern

NMK

Thunder Dragon

World: G.M.C. DAN - 10,000,000+α - Autofire ON
Community: Despatche - 341,300 - 3 - Autofire ON

World: DEVICE PHANTOM - 10,000,000+α - Autofire OFF

Taito

Kiki Kaikai

World: NUKEGAKE - 2,755,650 - 5-8
Community: Perikles - 390,900 - 2-3 replay
Note: there is an infinite pattern in this game, allowing for a counterstop. I found two scores and picked the one without the milking.

Also something for US AAF Mustang:

Community: Perikles - 2,342,400 - 2-7 - Autofire ON replay

I also have a few questions:

- I haven't played it myself yet, but shouldn't the World version and the Japanese version (or Rev.C/Rev.D, respectively) from R-Type Leo be split? Is the world record that is posted here actually one for the World version? The checkpoints shouldn't matter all that much since you have to finish the game on your first life anyway if you want a really high score, but as far as I know there are also gameplay-related differences (you can't fire the main weapon while using the pods and maybe some other things?).

- Is the community score for the Normal course in TwinBee Yahhoo! valid for this thread? As far as I can see it was achieved during one STGT where everyone agreed to play with two extends (as is the default for the ports), but I'd imagine the World record holder did not have the luxury of those extends, or am I mistaken?

- There was little bit of discussion about it in the appertaining thread (whether it was the old or the new version of the game), but I believe that Baron Rojo got the community record for Turbo Force, no?

2,755,650 is the last score published on Gamest magazine before the discover of infinite pattern. Then the game has been banned.

In the world record (japanese arcade version) there are 3 lives only. No extend.

In yu-ku all vides are awful quality because this chinese "youtube" not support videos with medium / high quality. In past I see some excellent mame replay for Strikers series, but now all forums seems down. I have saved hayate replay and maybe 1 or 2 other.

Thanks for the corrections/supplements, guys!
Gemant wrote:Nostradamus not have infinite pattern.
The reason I stated this was because the game was banned for the last STGT due to its scoring problem:
trap15 wrote:[...] by the same developers as Nostradamus, a far superior game that we were going to play until I noticed it had an infinite score problem.
Considering that the highest scores are counterstops that seemed like a plausible explanation, but I haven't played the game yet, so I can't say myself. :)

The game have a regular Counter Stop and actual Gamest score is again an official score. I never see a mention about an infinite pattern in this game.
