BVM flickers vertically

My bvm 201fe flickers vertically in menu (up/down, approx. 1cm).. No sources being connected so far..
should i be concerned this would be in games also? How to fix that?

That is totally normal. Menu works differently from actual sources.

A vertically "scrolling" menu is totally normal??

Unfortunately BVM cables still not in Germany from UK, cant wait any longer...

Yes, it's not necessarily a problem, though 1cm does sound like a lot for it to jump, but it's normal for it to jump back and forth a little bit.

And learn from this - get everything you need to test a monitor BEFORE buying the monitor. If at all possible, test the monitor with real games before buying it.

Since it was under 100,- EUR including secured delivery 800km aways for under 20k hours on it in perfect condition.. im fine thanks

What is the technically explanation for that anyway?

What do mean scrolling? I thought you meant jittery like moving up and down repeatedly? If so then yes all BVM (at least that I've used) do that in the menus when no source is connected. Why? I have no idea.

Hi yes jittery moving up down when no source.. got it working with ps1 now stunning picture, compares to 1084S easily (good ol amiga times :twisted: )
