Mysterious... now why would you leave out exactly that one :?:

^ Stop unnecessarily sticking words into your sentences for bulk, that's why you keep dicking everything up and making your posts laborious to read. Just say 'Why would you leave out that one?" or "I wonder why you left out that part".

If you insist on using 'exactly', put it in the right place ffs: "Now why exactly would you leave out that one?"
"Now why exactly would you leave out that one?" = for what exact purpose would you leave it out?
"why would you leave out exactly that one" = why would you leave out that one in particular, and no other?

If you've ever been to elementary school, you might remember that lesson where you put the same word in different parts of the sentence, and the sentence changes its meaning as a result - none of those is "the right one", both are valid and mean different things; I meant it precisely the way I phrased it.

And your remaining "linguistic criticisms" are about just as clueless... so much for that one I suppose.

In answer to your question, it isn't quoted because it's not being replied to, and no one knows what "error", "dishonesty" or "distraction" you keep babbling on about. It's all been on topic, you're just really dense and don't understand words.
The exact reaction I was expecting :D

Back there of course, the explanation was starring you right in the face (by virtue of being in the directly preceding posts), but now it's like "oh my gaaaahhd, so many pages I don't even know where to stard lookin', oh my gosh oh no" - that's fine, but keep in mind that as long as you keep being obtuse and evasive, i'm the de-facto winner of this "discussion".

And in whose hands is it to change that circumstance if not in yours!

You've won jack shit and that's the way it's going to stay.

The entire forum came down on you like a ton of bricks, you can't write for shit, your opinions are bunk and your attempts to persuade completely worthless. As long as this forum exists anyone who finds this thread will have a good old laugh at your delusions and a good old laugh at your worthless RLM rebuttal.

If you need another shovel for that hole, just holler.

Slightly off topic, but which of the 3 prequel films do ya'll consider the most wretched?

For me, the first two are tied for worst. 1 is more nonsensical, but 2 adds in those ungodly romance sequences. 3 at least has mindless action replacing some (though not all) of the most offensive aspects of the previous 3 films. It's also pretty boring, has lots of facepalm worthy stuff, and the characters are no more likable, etc. but it at least has less drivel.

That... is actually really difficult to answer, there's so much awful. My gut says part 2, with Anakin's bipolar swings between whining about Obi Wan and giving padme creepy sex looks, outlaw Jango Fett choosing to be cloned rather than just banging a chick raw, the Death Sticks dealer, the hand-waved genocide, the idiot Jedi just accepting the clone army without asking who wrote their brain programming, the awful romance, turning the legendary clone wars into a completely disposable droid army against a completely disposable clone army, Christopher Lee's undeveloped last-minute villain, R2D2's rocket boots, "Oh by the way, Luke, if the Emperor tries shooting lightning at you, just hold your lightsaber vertical and you'll easily neutralize it," and Yoda's dignity-shattering Speedy Gonzalez saber fight.

Yeah, 2 probably has the worst ramifications for the series. 1 ties it for me because, in terms of actually being a film/story, it feels like the biggest mess. The others are banal, but 1 just makes no sense on any level.

I'm a +1 for Star Wars 5: Episode 2. While it does have wonderful Portman in a fetish fanservice outfit (a callback of sorts to the fanservice in Star Wars 3: Episode 6), and boners are an important subfaction of the pie that builds the franchise's wide market appeal...... Hayden Christensen's part in being an on-screen cypher translating our overt boner impulses was written very poorly. Clearly by someone who's never had a conversation with a human before in their lives.

As mentioned before, this one really should have had a horror subtheme as Anakin loses his sanity to the mind whispers of the thetans, that also give him his great power.

The clone wars is indeed also a lost opportunity. "Clone wars". What are the clones? Are they modified clones of famous Jedi, living and dead?* Nah that would be too exciting and make too much sense. They're some random unremarkable bounty hunter who played a very minor bit part in the original series combined with the storm troopers because ineffective nostalgia pandering. Never mind that Fett was the same thing as Vader or Chewie: not a character but a cool looking suit.

Revenge of the Sith by definition can't be the worst. It has Christensen get his legs cut off then the bloody stumps catch on fire. Which is the culmination of our desire to see him in agony for being an unsympathetic and unconvincing surrogate for our desires to sex Portman and cut people in half with laser swords. Also, saying NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO a lot in inappropriate situations. I say that at least once or twice a week, and I'm sure you do too. That's lasting cultural impact.

And that is my essay for today. I hope you enjoyed it more than some of the other essays itt.

* Remember that scene of the troopers "betraying" the Jedi and casually gunning them all down to the point of extinction over 90 seconds? Remember how fucking stupid and hand-wavey that was, when we had seen through the entire series how completely useless these guys were and how nearly cartoonishly immortal the jedi were in a fight?

Wouldn't that entire thing make shit loads more sense if the Jedi were being hunted down over a period of months by fellow ninja wizards instead??

Quick question, and this seems to be the best place: Are the despecialized versions worth watching? It seems there is upscaling used which scares me. The originals in 480p on a big flat screen though gotta be kinda ugly too though.

It's the culmination of crap: absolutely nothing happens. There's almost no actual plot development, and the actual developments that are there are such a letdown it's painful. Anakin's dark side turning is abrupt to the point of hilarity, the fight at the end with Obi Wan is an ugly drawn out cartoon, Vader is parody. The rest is lizard riding and fucking CG wookies.

...CG wookies. If only I'd known Lucas' revisit would turn out like this.

Couldn't the same be said about Episode 1? To this day, I'm hard pressed to find a movie who's plot is more awkward and poorly explained, and with less reason given to care about anyone or anything. 2 and 3 at least tried, with embarrassing results, but 1 was just pure meandering dementia. I mean, I still have no clue what the Trade Federation thing was about.
