New shmups in Japan?

I know Xbox have more shmups games than PS. Now XboxOne is here. So I wonder Japan got new ones for Xbox one? Got a list of titles?

None. There have been a few announced but they all seem to be in limbo.

Ah weird. The new year is coming so it would have new shmups... I know there are doujin shmups but I wanted to know if there are any new ones in consoles and arcades.

Raiden V is coming on the 25th of February, but besides that there's nothing definite.

I too have been wondering this same exact thing. Playstation has been doing so well in Japan it only makes sense to release new shmups on the console, so I've been keeping my eyes on any new news. I knew about Raiden V and can't wait for it to be released.

but I've been wanting to play some other shmups on my PS4, Resogun & Dariusburst are both great, but I need a new bullet hell Top Down shmup.

It'd be awesome if we create a topic titled "Shmups News in Japan" to keep checking out daily about the new releases to let us know then type down the details of the titles and their history and date lists, too.

It's buggy like that. Some say it works if you just keep trying to repeatedly access it, but I usually go around the hassle by using a proxy.
