Great news, wasent expecting to be released so soon. Hope it sells enought that Triangle Service will release more on steam.

@Blackbird : Do you receive sale stats from steam, divided so i possible to see it country wise or region ? Just curious if possible to see how many from Japan has bought eschatos. and xiizeal. You dont have to disclose any numbers . Just if there is any support from japanese players on steam and if there will be any noticeable sale increase from japan on these games after the two cave games has been relased.
Just hopeing there is a tipping point were they cant resist to get on steam : )
Also china and south korea would be interesting to know

The giveaway thing. I got Crimzon Clover free and bought the alternative soundtrack and superplay.

Is there any chance for GOG? I've got the Shooting Loves on 360 but a DRM free PC installer for backup purposes is something I'd purchase.

Any plans for Trizeal and Exzeal? It's nice to see Triangle Service getting more exposure.

Damn that picture looks cool! Will there be a hi-res wallpaper version of that available at some point?

It's possible we'll do a #Gamesmatter event for some more games - but probably not right after launch.

I think this new image was made specifically to promote DeltaZeal PC by Mr. Fujino... haven't seen it anywhere else before =D. Maybe we could include a full size image of it in a community update?

Blackbird,

today I learnt, from skimming the For Sale board, that there is a physical Crimson Clover OST CD release. Surely Yotsubane has access to this disk. So, is there any change you could use the physical OST release as a basis for a FLAC rip, put it on Steam, replacing the 128kb mp3 version? It would be much appreciated!

Here's a picture of the disk:

This is my first time hearing this! That does seem possible, but it would depend on whether the CD was created before or after the original audio files were lost. It's possible that the CD contains audio sourced from the game's compressed audio, for example. That CD is also from the doujin version, so there might be some differences from the CC:WI version of the soundtrack.

I'll ask about it.

The CD doesn't have all the tracks the CC:WI soundtrack has, the most obvious being the Unlimited mode stage themes for stages 4, 5A, and 5B (the original doujin version only had separate Unlimited mode music for the first three stages) and the time attack theme. You can compare the track info on VGMdb: CD and CC:WI.

It would be very cool to have this OST in addition to the regular one. Maybe call it "Cimzon Clover (Doujin) OST".

DeltaZeal is live! In addition to DeltaZeal, we've also released soundtracks form DeltaZeal and XIIZeal, as well as a "Shooting Love Anniversary" compilation pack which lets you pick up everything at once.
Hope to see you on the leaderboards =D!

Hi Blackbird,

I just purchased delta and also have xiizeal. I was hoping you could help me. I am having an issue where I really can't play either of these because there is a glitch with my ipac2. For some reason both games seem to see a constant left direction being pushed while in the menu and in game as soon as the ipac is attached. I know the ipac is fine because everything else works perfectly. If I can supply anymore details or anything to help please let me know. I am a long time shmup forum user (I lost me old account because my info became outdated and I could not recover my pass) anyways, any help is truly appreciated!

SPECIAL PROMOTION! Offer ends 23 October
I'm not familiar with the Steam Sales lingo - but this made me wonder if the "Offer" isn't simply the price but the entire package. If the package is temporary it would make sense to keep it off wishlists.
Overall the package (and it's current price) seems to be designed as bait for those who have already purchased XIIZeal but want the full OST package and for anyone who has been sitting on the fence.

Got it nlen, will report that as a bug.

The SL pack isn't temporary, so feel free to wishlist it if you want to check it later.

I would if I could. There's no "add to wishlist" button for the bundle. See the link two posts above. It's the same in my steam client. Might just be a steam thing that can't be helped.

When playing in windowed mode, the screensaver isn't prevented from starting. I don't recall this happening with XIIZEAL.

Other than that (maybe the high score entry timer, but I entered my initials fast so I haven't noticed), no issues. Glad to buy another Triangle Service brought over to PC by Degica.

This also happens in fullscreen.

I'm pretty sure Steam doesn't let you add bundles to your wishlist. It's annoying. :|

Anybody getting odd microstutter/pulldown in DeltaZeal? I have a gsync monitor and this is basically the same kind of consistent pulldown I'm used to seeing when emulating a game in MAME with vsync on back on a non-gsync monitor. The game runs at a normal average speed, but shadows, for example, aren't flickering at steady rates.

I found this especially strange given that XIIZeal runs butter-smooth, but then I wondered if the original arcade game this is based on, G-Stream G2020, ran on hardware with a weird refresh rate, to the point where the port team had to adapt this game to a "normal" 60hz. It looks like G2020 ran on one-off hardware (not the same Taito board used by XII Stag). MAME has that hardware at 60hz, but I figure that could be a placeholder?

I've never seen the 360 version of the game for comparison.

It's always been the plan to get more of the shmups on GOG, I've just been a bit preoccupied with so many new releases happening back to back. Bear with me!
