Just made it to Gigantech Building in Batrider for the first time, never practiced Z city before this either.

Nice, solo play or team? I’d recommend Shorty B or C if you are simply going for the clear.

Yeah man I'm on shorty B. I mostly play Batrider as an antidote to Ikaruga, but i'll probably put a lot more time in once I'm done with the latter. I'd love to clear it with Birthday waifu some day.

well, its been a long time since i cleared anything! i know its a low score. I dropped medals all over the place and no resources throughout the last two boss fights, so I'm happy! missed the "completed" screen as my phone was nowhere near me and didn't expect to clear it! … pretty fun, same as batrider in that its simple but not…

Beat the first loop of DDP for the first time today... with 6 credits.

I think I got through most of stage 6 without deaths, which was nice considering it was my first time seeing it. Gonna have to learn bomb reflexes soon. 2 or 3 credits is probably possible right now if I nailed the first 4 stages, still being horribad at 5+6.

But that's my first clear of any proper arcade shump, so it's a start.

today I 1 credit cleared Touhou 8 - Imperishable Night on Hard with the Border Team (Hakurei Reimu and Yakumo Yukari)

Managed to NMNB the stage part of Futari Ultra Stage 1 once. The boss then screwed me out of a full stage NMNB.

Though the midboss and second half of the stage still tend to ruin almost all my attempts at the stage. Even trying to get up close to the midboss to get more damage in, I still tend to get hit at some point before it dies(unless I switch from Abnormal Palm to Reco Normal for a bit, in which case it dies too fast and the part after becomes even worse).

It's sure a relief to get this after failing several times on Kouryuu. Did this without savestates too (excluding one on the title screen and another I had in stage 1 to experiment with some chaining), mainly to prove to myself that I could do it, as some extra practice on the later stages really would have made this easier on me.

* 6-7 months
** not going for the S++ line anytime soon, I just need a decent run with about 25-26 mil or so to feel satisfied with this game
*** there's a huge scoring difficulty spike in this stage (3) but then again it does match the theme and speed of the stage, and the survival difficulty curve is still alright around it so I'm not that mad about this goal taking so long, it's just annoying that I could nail stage 4 so much more easily

Btw, GJ on the clear Shepardus, I never got past the end of st5 in that one and not for lack of trying.
