The only reason it'd take longer in BL is because it has 3 times as much slowdownObscura wrote: They are that easy, though. Get a strong-style 1CC, and see how long it takes you to make it to the laser wheels with Power.
(The answer will be "not long".)
Which do you prefer in terms of gameplay? DFK 1.5 or BL?

it's fucking 2015, why haven't you learned the wheels yet, you can start practice from the 1st midboss and the whole thing is only 2 mins long maybe

With my new found appreciation for SDOJ I am strongly considering picking this up on the 360.
Worth it?

Totally different from SDOJ and not as good imo. Daioujou would be a much closer analogue if you can find a copy that won't break the bank (and if you have a j360)
To elaborate: In my mind, Dodonpachi as a series is simple but strict. Everything is very obvious and very straightforward, but actually implementing a solid chaining route is very demanding. DFK, on the other hand, is a mess of fiddly systems. There's nothing basic about it. The hypering is counterintuitive, scoring is a bunch of interlocking systems, and there's an extra button devoted to switching between normal and boost modes for extra fiddliness... no thanks. If you really love SDOJ and want to experience the whole series, then go for it I guess. You might like it a lot. But Daioujou is the best in the series, has much more comparable gameplay, and can be bought online for about the same price. In my mind, DFK feels nothing like the other Dodonpachi games.
