Let's see, on visual candy, maid robo dolls and explosions, SDOJ is the latest and newest so it would only be natural to bring that first just because it will also attract other crowds. I don't know how obtuse or ridiculous the game is but I'm examining this from a newbie perspective, someone who faces these games for the first time.

Then you have Mushi Futari, with its infamous reputation thanks to that infamous "HARDEST VIDEOGAME BOSS EVER" video. It's hard to dodge that tag but, ironically, Mushi Futari has a Novice mode that's accessible as hell. Then there is DDP Resurrection. I bought that thing on Android and it was basically the only thing I used my tablet for before I put it in my bookshelf to collect dust. The Novice mode of DDP Resurrection was quite easy (it also helped you could kind of "cheat" with the touch control to move the ship all across the screen like mad).

Akai Katana Nesica was made on PC, right? That could also be an easy port. BUT, still, the devil is in the details. People will tear open the games to see how accurate they are, etc., etc. I guess we may eventually see some sicko "arcade perfect" mode or something until they are 1:1 to their the arcade versions.

A lot of potential avenues, either way, looking forward to see which game they announce first. Most evidence points to Mushi indeed. Which Mushi though? If you put Futari bloody bundle both Mushis in one package or something, don't put the sequel without the original first!

If CAVE is doing the porting themselves... who is left at CAVE? Isn't just a husk of its former self right now? Just wondering.

A handful of Chinese players tried Raiden IV PC version out and found some problems with the gameplay, affecting difficulty on default settings. The music has brief blank moment when looping too.

Let's hope CAVE will do a better job than MOSS did for now. And lots of thanks to Degica staff, CCWI is absolutely a masterpiece. Wish you succeed with great CAVE ports!

I'm under the impression that it's an already-existing game.
Yeah, but thinking about it...it's not that hard to remember that Mushi is a fan favorite. On the other hand, Deathsmiles or Akai Katana had positive reception but not as high as Mushi's.

Even though the website has a Mushi background, I really think that choosing an horizontal-oriented game would be a more reasonable first entry for the masses. Besides, he implied he didn't really put much sweat on that website so he may have chosen a random yet suitable background image for the message they are sending.

What do you guys think?

Hopefully it won't be Futari or WL Mushi, but Mushi 1.5 Matsuri or a proper SDOJ release.
Crossing my fingers that Cave has at least this much business sense for a first Steam release.

It could easily be SDFK. Yagawa himself said it would eventually happen, that you can't have SDOJ without SDFK.

Am I wrong or Deathsmiles II also has a shota?

Blackbird's already said that the game has tate support, so it's not a horizontal game.

The most logical choice would be Futari. I mean, it is voted the #1 STG on this forum. Plus, its got a whole plethora of modes.

That and the whole HARDEST BLABLABLA video for exposure. Finally the 2hu-fags who don't even play the games get to experience which is harder.

This would remove almost seven points if added in co-op.

She's more cute than sexy, honestly.
Beside, shotas are generally the least sexualized characters at the moment (if we exclude fandoms and the hentai universe).

I don't think your "lip service" will work as a form of exchange. Is better paying them with cash for this, lots of it if we want to see more Cave on PC.

Yes.

I swear, (most) goddamn Touhou fans are like the juggalos of video games.

Back on topic...

I can't wait! And I'm hoping for KetsuiPachi in the future. Thank you guys for what you have done, and are still doing.

I'm sure your contribution will make a huge difference to their bottom line, I imagine you'll get a letter of thanks.

Or perhaps you should just keep your money and spend it on something that makes sense.

Because supporting a company that you like by purchasing and gifting their games to your friends doesn't make sense.

Yeah i don't see what's so hard to get:
With poor sales there will be no more ports on Steam and the genre will suffer as a result.

If you really want to see the genre work its way to a better place - show it with your wallet.
