In 5 days you improved your score 57M?!?!?!?!

The actual world record is 68.336.875 made by CLOVER-YMN (aka God of Shmups).

I've got a 67M replay and is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE...

Come on: how could you expect we believe your score?

I guess we'll have to wait for photographic evidence before Stahlfeder's score can be put up. :(

So long as I don't mess with the control on my PS2 game (just looking into this more) the game will just use the normal autofire and I won't be "cheating" right? Anyways, I just tap 'n shoot with good old human thumb power. :P Will have new score posted tonight.

Maniac:
toby - 325,399,786 - ALL - Default
pic.

Nailed stage 4 this round, and got a 180k counter from the stage 5 mid boss.
Just learned pretty easy technique for the stage 5 midboss. Start by slowly
tapping A (and keeping the lasers on him) for the first four pattern (until the first pattern comes again) and
then start tapping C like a maniac until he goes into phase 2. Should give you a counter between 170-180k,
and this is coming into the midboss with a zero counter.

Not a single post concerning Stahlfeder's post has been deleted, they have been moved here. No more talking about it here. Keep the high-score thread clean, mmkay?

This score is truly great, congrats! I'll wait the DVD and finish with Ketsui, then I want to play Maniac again and again, there are tons of points to uncover ^_^

thanks dude. I'm real eager to see the DVD, judging by the samples it looks pretty awesome, 450 mil by stage 3...that is insanity.

Everything is updated folks, please tell me if you happen to see any errors in the scoreboard.

Plasmo: I do want to update (I already did), but probably less often this week because the exams are killing me right now. I have a Grade 12 Law exam coming up tomorrow and I'm trying my best to study like hell. But updates will be guaranteed though, hehe.

Like LUN I also want to return to this game. The new Replay DVD should be pretty amazing. I didn't post my Maniac score last year, as I couldn't see a way to challenge kawaijb's excellent 400mil.

Man... Where the hell did this come from?

Arrange:

Kewing - 491,899,780 - ALLCLEAR - Default (For the record: didn't use rapid fire)

I was just not expecting such an improvement after not touching the game at all for almost 2 weeks. LOTS of luck in this run, as well :o , but I'm quite satisfied with it (it's also about the clear ;) ).
I was quite surprised at the huge remain bonus (had 2 lives in stock).
Now for Maniac :)
Just a couple more shots!!!

Edit: New Score

Arrange
Shalashaska - 631,151,968 - All Clear - Default

Ultra
Shalashaska - 20,979,913 - Stage 3 - Default

Yay I finally cleared Arrange with 2 lives left in stock. Improved my Ultra score quite a bit as well.

Stahlfeder appears on the Maniac board twice by the way.
