First six stages went really well except for missing the chain into the Desert boss, after that it went downhill pretty fast, despite better than usual rank. Inexplicably ran into a bullet at the start of stage 7 and dropped an extend, died again at the turret wall because I thought I had bombed, finally game-overed in stage 8 trying to search for an extend (which appeared after I died). Still very happy with the first six stages though, almost scored as high as yk's run (and would have scored higher if I had gotten the Desert boss chain), just need to do that more often and start practicing the last two stages.

If you chain everything properly, stars worth next to nothing.

Nothing really new, but here's a Battle Bakraid Normal Course 1CC with a score I'm satisfied with and don't plan on improving in the near future. It's about the same as the first six stages in the 76.6 million replay I posted earlier, except it's normal course so it ends nicely there instead of continuing on into stages I'm still bad at.

Fascinating. Bakraid is one of the few games I've 1CCed, but it did not look ANYTHING like that run. Raizing's scoring systems are mysterious, compelling and intimidating.

Some folks told me that the Hong Kong version of Donpachi is much harder than the US one, so I popped invincibility mode and tried the final stage, second loop. It's kind of spectacular, especially the boss and the section right before it.

Hey guys, here's my 25 million point run for Cho Ren Sha 68k's hard mode.

I'm moderately happy with this run. Fairly clean though there are a few extends missed here and there, a tragic death on the first loop, and lots of bombs I'd like to shave off. This run is a lot less bomb spammy then my last one though, and I think it's a lot more watchable on that front, even if it's not perfect yet.

Some highlights include a no-miss/no-bomb fight with the stage 4 boss, and only one life lost (and some ok dodging) on the TLB's last phase.

So does anyone actually have access to a sonic wings limited board who can tell me if the right side one is how the actual arcade machine behaved? Because when I tried the english version of this game (which was only released in taiwan) it's actually way harder and different in several ways, especially later on.

You would be able to tell instantly on the first stage by if the huge building doesn't shoot rows of fat yellow bullets at you.

After a bit of tinkering I figured out how to resize/edit videos kind of properly. Here're a Gradius 2-ALL (arcade), a Dragon Spirit 1CC (arcade) and a quick Undeadline 1LC (MD) to get the ball rolling. I'm being facetious in the Gradius video description, of course, I was merely tired and slipped on my controller. Sadly I was not able to reproduce my fairly solid work on the second loop as of now despite the somnambulant state I was in when I managed to do it - being sleepy sure helps to keep nerves under control.

Oh cool, I didn't know about that one! Yeah, even though the quality's pretty iffy, that replay's pretty amazing (The player's name is D.B, I see), he managed to pull off a number of gutsy moves I wouldn't have dared to try, haha (I played rather safely in a number of parts in my run). Also, eep, I noticed his run was done with higher fps (63 - 64 fps). I could only imagine how much harder that makes the game on Ultra in-general.
