Have another Battle Bakraid video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLgbo0LCMgY

This one's a new PB and western record, and the first of my videos to reach stage 7 (out of 8 total in Advanced Course). I got all the important chains in the first 5 stages, which I'm quite happy with. I still haven't bothered working out a good and consistent route for Bahamut (Desert boss), but the beginning of that boss fight in this video shows the route I've been working on, at least until I accidentally dropped the chain. I missed the chain extension into Gigamanta (stage 6 boss), but I think the rank was relatively high at that point so getting the tail chained would have been a long shot either way. I haven't practiced stage 7 at all so that was pretty much just improvisation, though similar to Seaside there's a lot of enemies that you can just chain naturally.

Go watch the video, then go play the game. It seems that nobody plays this game and that's sad because there's a ton of scoring potential that nobody outside of Japan has ever seen. If I can get a western record in just a couple months of play (probably less time than it took me to 1cc Battle Garegga, in fact), imagine what could happen with a couple years of practice, especially if there were more than like three or four people on this forum who have put any real effort into this game's scoring.

Thanks for sharing Shepardus.
Your movies are what made me buy the Bakraid pcb again just so I one day can sit down and try to learn the scoring.
Love the sound of the high value chain and when the extend pickups shows up.

Welp, not anymore, ciox just posted a 72 million all clear (which he might have gotten earlier than I got my 68 million?): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Gjtx6gdgu8

Check that one out too, he's actually been using different routes from me so it's worth a watch to see the different ways you can score in this game.

Nuts. I've heard that stage 3 can be overflowed but had never seen it myself. That run is unreal.

To be blunt, the akai katana replay is really not that special. Here's the world record replay, which is over 20x the score of your video

 !!! Incredible stuff! I'm not so familiar with the game so just curious - why did he bomb at the end of Stage 3 while he had the overflow bug triggered? It looked like the bomb was intentional. I can understand if he was just trying to decrease rank but I see that there were still a few enemies left before the boss.

EDIT: Perhaps this was answered in the comments on nico. I watched the run on YT (thanks to Van Artic's uploads) as I've forgotten my login on nico...

Just recorded my Fairy Wars extra stage clear to video, along with a couple other extra stage clears I did since November of last year.

Fairy Wars
Undefined Fantastic Object
Ten Desires
Double Dealing Character

I also set up a playlist with all my extra stage clears. Except for the four linked above, they're all old uploads from years ago, so they're not in 60fps and only go up to 480p.

I really didnt care about the replay with the highest score, I wanted the most resent replay at the time, and it was still good. But I guess no matter where I go I will always find negativity.

Hi guys. I diddn't even know about this forum. Pleased to be here. In my spare time, I enjoy trying to do high resolution (60fps) 1CCs, with my goal to look as nice as if you watching it being played.

Thought I would share what I got done so far. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4AWVt ... ZMUUkR-mKQ. Currently i'm trying my hand at beating Vasara 2, but I keep getting to the second loop last boss on my 1CC and deing. :( . Doh....

Yes, half of good iOS games are shmups, hehe. Now you gonna be angry, but really, it's good that it exists like that. Maybe better on tablet than smartphone - when i play RayForce there i have game's display not fullscreen so i control by touching space below "game screen". Though i always was touchscreen fan because i loved music making apps there - SYNTHS, SAMPLERS, DRUM MACHINES etc. which fit touch controls better than games

But that latest Cave's game with in-app purchases, UPDATES and DOWNLOADING... is useless shit.
