I wanted to wait until there was enough progress to post it here!
It is a retro styled shoot'em'up (some of you might recognize some of the graphics i am using as they are coming from Daniel Cook, the guy that worked on Tyrian).
Fast paced, not a bullet hell (i'm not a fan of those even though some are still awesome) and with RPG elements such as levelling, skill points, inventory system, heat system, etc.
The heat system is only used on secondary weapons and there's an option for secondary fire focus mode (slows the ship when firing them).

Currently working on gamepad support (trying to resolve a detection issue atm, but it should be ok ^^), ui redesigns, game balance and final level design. And i'm also working with a graphic artist to add some pixel art cutscenes throughout the game

A demo will be available as soon as possible (trying for late August) and I want the game to be on gog.com as well as steam.
