RTC2200 psu ?
Hi
Just received this today (bought for $60) but without PSU (surprise, It was shipped with a (free) HDFury 2, hdmi cable, HDFury PSU and 2x hdfury USB cables so I will not complain ...).
Anyone know the specs of the official RTC2200 PSU ?
Thanks

9V at 500mA. My multimeter is out battery right now, but I'm pretty sure that the front tip is positive. Got a stupid connector though (like a headphone jack).

Re: RTC2200 psu ?
ok thanks Fudoh
so a 3.5mm connector should be fine right ? (with 9v, 500mA or more).

Re: RTC2200 psu ?
Can I ask what you're using the CS for ? I find less and less use for component to RGBHV transcoding these days.

I use mine to play 6th gen games PC CRT's. Also Wii U, since you can't get full-range RGB over HDMI.

Re: RTC2200 psu ?
Ok,I received the psu.
Current test setup :
XSELECT-D4 (D-Terminal Out) > RTC2200
edit : same result with PS2 > RTC2200 (hard to see anything...)
i have a very weak signal, hard to see the xselect OSD (should be white but it's blue color)
any idea? bad psu ? defective rtc2200?

The RTC2200 has a few pots on the side you can turn with a small flathead. Find the manual online and give them a turn.

Re: RTC2200 psu ?
The XSELECT's output is not exactly standard. It's running through an equalizer that allows you to tweak the gain for all signal parts. Did you try the RTC with a signal directly from a console ? Or did you try to increase the gain on the XSELECT's output ?

Re: RTC2200 psu ?
If you got access to a multimeter, you could check if the two voltage converters on the board give you the correct output voltage readings.

Re: RTC2200 psu ?
Did you ever try using it with a different display?
Like, try running a 720p signal from a PS3 into a computer monitor or another TV with VGA in.
