Need 2d artist for intense robotron project

Target audience: Male Hardcore gamers.
Why not just Hardcore Gamers? Or people who like shoot 'em ups? Or just gamers? What's with the unusually specific and unnecessary mention of gender?
Cloud-based Data-integration.
What kind of data would need to be integrated on a server? Or is this just a fancy way of describing an online scoreboard.
Timescope: Between 2 to 4 weeks.

Motto: "Best free 2D shoot-em-up on Steam".
This seems like a really short timeframe unless you plan on dedicating all your free time on this or you're participating in some kind of speed programming gamedev competition. I've seen competitions where ASCII based Roguelikes get made in 24 hours, but you're looking to make something with slick graphics and sound.

Your project design is insanely vague. The only thing I understood that it's some sort of shooting game with a stereotypic LSD "OMG WTF IS GOING ON PEWDIEPIE!! XD" artstyle and theme.

Girls mostly suck at games, so you'll be making more people happy by just ultra-catering to men in a hardcore genre like this.

The only way to explicitly cater to men is to fill it with boobs, and then you'll alienate the men who hate fanservice (A LOT, in my experience) or won't grab those who like dfc (including yours truly). You can do it if you want, but it's not going to bring in better sales for a genre like this imo.

Ever since college I've been meeting more and more girls who play games, of a variety of genres. It's not really a big deal, but there's really nothing to gain by "catering" imo.

Well I was assuming gender was not an issue (to psychological project onto others), if other people see gender as an unresolved issue in themselves (so they project onto others), then i highly recommend them to educate themselves about their gender issues, it is outside the scope of my project. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection

Maybe the game-maker-steam-api-cloud functions: are not adequate for the features i have proposed in my other documents (and i need other data-services), that is to early to say.

If you read the document correctly, it says "Milestone 1 - ship alpha - 2 to 4 weeks", then "Milestone 2 - Release on steam".

I don't know why people have this obsession dramatizing gender issues. Why do you even mention girl play games? Why did you even mentioned it?

This art-project is all about de-dramatizing gender issues, the character will have to switch between into reincarnating into both male and female bodies in order to complete the game (i.e. the character is trans-sexual-gender-agnostic), but this topic is way more advanced than you anticipate in your fast conclusions, no need to project your unresolved issues, and past disappointments on a market you don't like, as a critique on a 1 minute pitch of this project by getting disturbed by your own notions that excludes the probability that the gender issue do not have to be an issue at all, and that the gender issue in fact has noting to do with the playful & trans-sexual implications of this art-project, this project is totally playing with common notions and common critiques in a dimension few ever thought was possible.

But at the same time: i thank you for pointing out how uneducated my target audience is, and ofc i need to adjust my communication better. Maybe i need to package this game into a "girls can do it" game. I was hoping my target audience would have higher standards, but i guess the failure is wholly on my part. But just because i wrote "Male hardcore gamers" does not imply that the game is "sexist" (like 70% of the stuff you guys buy, play and don't question).

OK, since we now have introduced ourselves, an you elite-regulars have voiced your concerns, and i have defended my initial concepts.

I am willing to put down the war-axe, and start all over.

You guys got a lot more experience than me in how this genre has evolved the last 10 years.
I mostly played games in the generation c64/nes/sms to playstation 1.

If we start all over and drop all these crazy lsd concepts....
and start to brainstorm and experiment with new ideas...

What are missing in current shumps?

Are the genre totally gender un-educated? (i am just trying to understand where your concerns come from).
Or are you talking about the short-commings of society in general?

I completely remove all notions of gender in this game, what would happen?
Should the characters be a-sexual or trans-sexual?

What kind of characters would you like to play in a game?

Just open questions, if you still are offended, by my first post, my following post, and this post, please realize i did not have any intentions in offending you. :)

I won't be able to play this game because I don't meet the hardware requirement of owning a fedora.
Maybe i need to package this game into a "girls can do it" game.
