Yeah I'm pretty sure that round was done on the debug board: in that inbachi video as soon as she appeared the player ship got 10 hypers out of thin air, and later on in the fight did the same thing a second time. I'm sure there were some other obvious cheats used but I didn't pay too much attention.
SDOJ has the problem in which the arrange modes are better than the main game. Also, I still don't get this input lag thing. Maybe you guys should get a Sony Trinitron TV. You can get them off craigslist for like $15 and theres no input lag whatsoever.
I really like SDOJ. High intensity for a mediocre player like me, which mostly turns out me doing spastic movements to avoid bullets. I love it!
Bought my SDOJ PCB from blackoak, and had to sell it when the car broke down. I didn't miss it at first, but after a few months I wanted it back. Managed to find it again in the beginning of 2014, and now I hope I don't need to sell it ever again!
Love the difficultly, I could only reach stage 4 mid-boss if I'm lucky. (I couldn't beat stage 4 in DOJ and Ketsui as well, yes I'm not skilled at cave shmups)
I think I've said this before but SDOJ is like the abusive spouse of shmups. It wants you to die and you sort of hate it but for some reason you keep going back. I will clear it one day but it feels like work not fun.
