Yes, though the icons still have JP text in them.

Contacted Triangle Service via the site's mail option asking about Australia distribution with English/GoogleTranslatedJapanese and I got this back a few hours later:

Do you need a VPN for Games on Demand? I know they are region locked but shouldn't you be able to buy them with no problems like XBLA games? I get XBLA games on my US account all the time. Also I never had to use a VPN to buy stuff from JPN and US PSN stores either.

I can only go from my personal experience but it seems so. I've been told Games on Demand titles are IP-locked and are (usually, apparently not in this case) region-locked to whatever the disc was originally. I signed up for a US account, linked my PayPal and attempted to purchase the GoD Shooting Love 200X on my Australian Xbox and it wouldn't let me even go through the purchase. I also tried getting Chronoblast on Xbox Live Indie Games and that didn't work either.

This is such a great package. The shmups skill test is so well put together, love the stage that starts out Space Invaders and then goes Star Force.

Are there any confirmed gameplay changes for Trizeal Remix? It seems easier than on DC, because I have already beaten my high score and the purple ships for the stage 1 break out seem to go down easier.

I want this just for the Shooting Skill test. Not worth the price of a 360 and a stick though sadly.

Was totally shocked to see this on the U.S. games on demand. Instant purchase. Triangle Service gang for life. It is a really solid package. Having a blast with Shmup Skills Test.

I own the Pcb

but I would really like to try that arrange mode someday ! Something I'm quite jealous of 360 owners getting the cool arrange modes and such.

Glad to see this has been brought to the US, even if it's only a download. It makes a perfect replacement for my recently-departed Dreamcast version of Trizeal.

After buying it I decided to scroll through the Games on Demand "recently added" list for grins and came across Under Defeat as well. What the hell?! I guess I missed the launch of that one. Regardless, I snapped it up along with Shooting Love.

Loving this.

Basically, the skills test is WarioWare + Brain Training + Shmups.

Hey, humans: why the fuck did it take you so damn long to think of this?

Great news, this release. I'm hoping it does well enough to get Shooting Love Tenth Anniverary a similar treatment, just to get the madness that is ∆Zeal/DeltaZeal/G-Stream G2020 under a few more noses.

Bought this last night. The Skills Test is definitely entertaining, not sure I really like either of the two games though. Will have to give it some more run this weekend.

You can use prepaid xbox cards to buy XBLA and XBLIG without a credit card, I've done it a bunch of times. Get the cards from someone where like pcgamesupply.com and you get a code you redeem on the 360. I've never done it with GOD though because I always buy retail when I can. This is the first PAL GOD exclusive game I've wanted.

It fills my heart with joy to see this game getting some love in this thread. I fell in love with Trizeal on the DC and have been a card carrying Triangle Service gang member since.

I can understand people not enjoying Trizeal or Exzeal but you'd have to be crazy not to love the shmup skill s test! Hands down the best 4-player local multiplayer available on the 360. I know that's not saying much, but it's still endless fun with 4 people.

Here's hoping for more Triangle Service releases outside of Japan!

Is there some bug with the leaderboard? Got over 300,000 a few times on Shmups Skills Test yet my leaderboard score is showing under that.

I've pretty much been playing mainly the Skills test, though I did play a little of TriZeal and Exzeal to try them out but had no idea what to do in those. Also messed around in Minus Zero and got the achievement for that.

I've been trying to get the level 99s but haven't managed it on Bullet Bullet Bullet A, Boards, or Meteors (though the last 2 would probably be freebies if you had a turbo controller). Not that I'm consistent at getting any of the other levels 99s, but I have at least gotten them.

I didn't think I'd care too much about the skills test cause caravan style modes have never been my thing, but it hasn't been too annoying yet outside of the button mashing stuff.

Also, is there any difference in this version of TriZeal(Remix) that would make it unacceptable for the boards here or on Restart Syndrome?

if anyone's going to try Minus Zero, it seems you have some i-frames when doing the lockon shots, which is very important to survival as you only get one life to score with in that. Didn't check the leaderboards for this to see what the top scores were.

Edit: Searched this board and saw that it does replace your ranking with your latest run regardless on Skills Test. Which is terrible. Guess the leaderboards for that are useless.

I'm not a big fan of button mashing in shmups, but I kind of feel like there's not much point in tackling a button mashing challenge with a turbo controller... I just do alternating taps between two buttons (since usually all three are the same). I do tend to do poorly at it though...

I can see wanting to for the official leaderboards though, just because that's probably what the highest scorers are doing.

EDIT: Also did anyone notice the Dreamcast tanks late in one of the tank challenges  So awesome.

I didn't know these were in 200X. Figured they were an addition to Ge-Sen Love, since they had to get the Pengo license from Sega for that.

It still saves scores on the in game high score chart which you can then compare to the leaderboards. But yeah, I think it should keep the highest one. I tried for a zero run earlier.

I'm wondering what gamer age you'd get if you intentionally failed everything ASAP.

Barely got level 99 on the meteors leaving the boards and pseudo Hibachi A now. You have to actually get the level 99 achievements in the skills test itself though as the practice or challenge stages don't count with the exception of recycling and the grab only a color which must be done on Challenge(I have gotten to 99 on Boards in one of those but not in the skills test). Apparently there's a very rare quiz thing that can appear in the skill test from what I see about the achievement list on Xboxachievements, wonder how long it'd take to actually get lucky enough to get it to show up.

My PB is a bit under 400,000 now(I think it's in the 380-390 range)

It's easy to do unless you get the medal section. If you get 79 it says don't feel bad or something like that.

Well, had a run with it a while back, yeah, got it around release, and it seems good so far, lol. I'm just waiting at a certain time to go back on it soon since there's an achievement that requires you not to play the game for at least 1 week and then go back on it. I know it may or may not work if you change the clock settings on the 360, but I'd rather get the timestamp on it anyways. Until then...@_@

I think this is impossible on Ge-sen Love because even if you fail straight away you'll still get something, like 0.2 or something like that.

It's so cool that it got released. Already own Trizeal on DC, and the JPN release of Shooting Love, nonetheless, I still bought the US one. I really hope it was worth his time/money investment to publish it outside of Japan. The shmup skill tests are pretty cool, and I still think Trizeal is a blast to play.

I'm still liking Trizeal a lot too. I can't tell what's different about it, though. It just seems a little easier to me.

Am I the only one who thinks the tone that plays during the boss intro in Trizeal sounds just like the tone in the old 80s Duracell battery commercials?

One disappoint I had with Trizeal Remix was that during the rock juggling section (which was becoming one of my favorite parts of the original) is really hard to juggle that rock, because the towers shoot a nasty spread attack now. I guess they expect you to step your game for a good score. Aw well, gives me a reason to boot up the DC every now and then :3.

Good to see the Triangle Service love. I became a convert only this past year or so.
