So, I snagged .apk file from 2ch, installed it and when I tried entering pre-entry code, it gave me this.

Well it gives me the same message but my Android OS is 4.4.2 and the game supposedly requires v.4.0.3 or higher, so... Maybe it's the ip-locking or something.

Well I grabbed the installer using the QooApp (Amazing App btw), give it a try and tell us if you had any luck.

Since the game is not accepting my pre-registration code I decided to not go further with the installation process, but I guess you could install it anyway if you don't care about the extra content at all...

Ok, somehow I got A.I after completing world 1 without game accepting my code. Or maybe it actually accepted it but still wants to drive away filthy gaijin or something. Better enter it just in case.

Yeah, now I'm having sorta the same issue. When I put the code, it shows me this:

Then the game asks to open the Google PlayStore App or the browsers and there is when I get the "Your device is not compatible" message. Fate doesn't want me to play this shit.

A new version was released after the maintenance, so you have to update. So you'll have to re-obtain the .apk from a secondary source (assuming that you obtained it like that originally).

I hope it doesn't reset our progress every time we update the apk. It's also a pain to have to find the new apk and then install it every time there's an update.

Back when Don Paccin was working, there was a method posted in the main discussion thread that allowed Android users to get the game directly from the Play Store, and it worked fine for me. I'm going to try searching through that thread, see if I can find that post, and see if it still works or not. Even though Don Paccin doesn't work anymore, you can see in my screenshots that I'm still allowed to download Don Paccin, but not Gothic.

If the save data is stored locally on your device, it would most likely be preserved as long as you install the new version on top of the old one without uninstalling first.

So I somehow managed to get this attached to my Google account (if I go into the Play Store page it now gives the open/uninstall option, on the web it no longer whines about "not available in your country")
Not entirely sure how I pulled it off, but it is doable. Testing to see if I can reinstall it if I uninstall or switch devices.

edit: and yes I can. Guess Google only cares where you are for the initial "purchase" of an app/movie/music, even if it's free. It does *not* show up under my installed apps though, I have to go over into the "all" tab if/when an update comes out.

QooApp worked just fine for me and I could play the game a little. I must say I dont understand many things, but the game play is rather pleasant.
