Not really a shmup parody, more a funny coincidence: In Sakigake!! Otokojuku, there's a character named Raiden who uses a fighting style called Peaceful Death Style/Daioujou-ryuu. He even has the 大往生 characters on his forehead. But the manga predates both games, I just thought it was pretty funny.

If that's the case, I'm guessing it's a SC-3000, which is a computer based off the SG-1000.

The big letters on that DOJ look-alike game seem to say 大昇天 (Great Ascension to Heaven), I think? Not bad :lol:
