Is commentary part of the in-game replay? It would be cool to be able to include commentary with the replay file. :o

Yeah I was wondering if they had to implement a new text display system for it.

I'm also curious if the players get a cut of DLC sales. How did it work back in the video days?

The Super Demos include the following: Replay files that can be played in-game and accompanying full color documents with commentary. The documents are very much like a strategy guide. Yotsubane has collaborated with several of the most prominent Crimzon Clover superplayers, like SOGO and GFA2-ISO, to obtain these replays and commentaries. The commentaries don't play in game/overtop of game footage though.

@Banana: Yes, there will be Type I Unlimited.

^^Nice work! Care to share the art files? Unless it's stepping on Degica's toes.

Wouldn't mind sharing but indeed not sure about Degica's policy. I think the upcoming DLC has a move strip included as well though?

Share away! We've got posters planned, but not move strips specifically, so it's good that these exist.

By the way, is 1.04 available on GOG yet, and if not is there a timeline for that?

My prediction: since Degica published Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds on Steam and got a good reception from 5pb, they might pursue to publish their other games like Bullet Soul Infinite Burst. Ketsui and DOJ are probably out of reach because they would have to involve Cave in the process and they are focusing on mobile gaming at the moment.

Or at least this is what I want. :P

That would be great, but I don't think the big companies (not SEGA, Capcom, Konami, ecc.) are all willing to step on PC as the situation in Japan is not that explosive. Sure, the doujin world is getting more prominent, but not that much to convince small companies to risk their budgets on such small platforms crowded by western players.
Regarding Cave's games, even if is just wishful thinking (which I DO NOT WANT to endorse), I'd want the Bug Princess' series to be ported on PC in one single pack. Although, if 5pb managed to port Ketsui on PS3, perhaps there's a microscopic chance for other games on PC.

How about Type III Time Attack?

I should've picked a more popular combo for the first shump I actually spent time trying to route for a few hours. :)

There are combinations of all the 4 ship types and the 4 arcade-difficulty modes, 16 in all, plus overviews for the various modes and enemy types. As I said, it's comprehensive =P.

He could've skipped Type II and no one would have noticed. ;)

Ask if you can tease us with a screen capture of one of the pages in the guide, or a score or something!

Yeah, that's one of the posters. Of course, the real version isn't covered with all that promotional text.

Most likely April. It really depends on how fast we can get all these commentaries translated and edited.

For the next 9 hours or so, Crimzon Clover World Ignition Deluxe Edition for Steam is available for around $2 USD over at IndieGala in a bundle with some other games. This a great chance to pick it up for next to nothing if you're one of those weird ones who don't already have a copy by now. :P
