Re: Jamma Adapter PCB Series
I ordered a System 16 adaptor and it had a couple of manufacturing defects. P1 Button 1 was shorted to one of the audio pins, and P1 down and P2 Down were shorted together. It wasn't a design error, but rather during manufacturing it seems that a couple of vias were too close to nearby traces and touched each other on the final printed board. I was able to clear this up with an exacto knife, so it wasn't a biggie. The board is currently at a friend's house; when I get it back I'll send pics.

Hi
Where did you order this one? I have made a new version and replace of course if any issues. Just give me some lines.

I bought it off of ArcadeForge a few weeks ago. It might have just happened to my adaptor and nobody else's. In either case, it could be a while before I get it back.

I have the exact same problem with my System16 adapter and I ordered mine from ArcadeForge as well! Please let us what to use the knife on, so I can try fixing it.papa_november wrote:I ordered a System 16 adaptor and it had a couple of manufacturing defects. Best would be you send it back to me and I care about. Arcadeforge is my shop, you paid hard money so it's my turn to fix.

Re: Jamma Adapter PCB Series
Otherwise I would, but that would leave me without an adapter for a while and I really want to play my recently acquired Bay Route while I'm on vacation. I can still play the game as the second player, those controls work just fine. But if you could give me instructions on how to fix it, that'd be great.

I confirm this both issues and found them in the supplier gerber. I`ve to wire-fix them.
