yeah me too. I only just found out about these games and downloaded the first one on my 360 today.
my pc sucks, so I doubt I could play the new one on there, however I will probably be getting a ps4 to play bloodborne amongst other things at some point and will definitely get the sequel on there.

It's out later this week, for 15 bucks.
It's now 10 bucks.

I'm pretty sure playism give steam keys so for you weirdos who only buy games on steam, you should be fine if it ever gets released on there.

Most likely it will. As soon as I get home from work it is download time. :)

The download also contains an mp3(320kps/44.1kHz)/wav soundtrack.

Got it running good. Just make sure you read the manual and install Microsoft XNA Framework Runtime before playing.

Steam version of RE:ACTOR is being released this friday, price point is 10$ like the playism one.

Playism did a great job with this trailer, very informative and the footage has some score play:

Looks like the game doesn't have steam drm, i copied it, deleted steam_api.dll, closed steam and it runs anyway. So far i only had a problem with crashing on quit and achievements but dev already promised to fix it in this thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/313400/di ... 572404223/.

Is there any way to get the PC version outside of steam?

Worth getting it directly from Playism because you get both a DRM-free download and a Steam code, and the price is always in USD instead of getting converted to your local currency, so you don't have to deal with Steam's $=€ type of currency conversion. Best of both worlds.

Importing the physical japanese release doesn't cost much either. It's 1300 yen(~12 USD) including shipping on Nanapo/7-iro right now, looks like he dropped the price because of the digital release. All releases can be updated to the newest version (1.15). The language barrier is very small IMO.

Unfortunately, there is no Steam code mentioned on the product page. I bought Astebreed from Playism, and the product description clearly stated that a complementary Steam key was part of the purchase as well. That doesn't seem to be the case this time.

There is a Steam code included. Says so on their blog post and by me, having already bought it from Playism.

All Steam codes are added to your Playism account downloads page. For Revolver360 it was added just yesterday, when the Steam release happened.

Gotta crash but purchased and listened a little to the OST - some really good stuff. Very surprised at the quality.

I just bought this on Steam as I saw that it was on sale (50% off). I'm really liking it so far but there's a massive input delay (in Windows 8 ). Is it the same on the 360 port? If not, then I might have to pick it up.

The game on steam is RE:ACTOR which never had a release on 360 but is getting one on PS4.

I don't get any big input lag on Windows 8 but haven't bought the playism/steam version so don't know if that could cause a difference. Maybe it's something system specific? it might be worth messing around with graphics card settings and turning v-sync and steam overlay off. If you already have I have no idea :/

You can probably contact the creator if it remains a problem, it's clearly not intended

Thanks a lot man! I took your advice and messed around with the settings for a bit and the input lag went away. Not sure exactly which setting caused the delay.

3-minute Score Attack version of RE:ACTOR (from Comiket 87) has been released for free: http://crosseaglet.xii.jp/game/R360R/download.html (thanks to Elixir for the heads up)

Pacing is totally crazy and taking damage drops your multiplier. EMP shot seems to be removed & reading from the dev blog it sounds like overdrive lasts longer either based on times user or how many bullets are cancelled upon activation?

Really fun, my main gripe with the main game was that taking damage wasn't punished. Getting high scores on this will take a lot of effort and there's a ton of stuff crammed into those three minutes.

Wow. Glad I found this one. Only played it for 5 minutes last night, but it is a nice change of pace from Mars Matrix in that I can play it mindlessly.

The quality is superb. I look forward to spending more time with it.

This score attack's a lot of fun. I never really paid attention to this game before, but I'm interested now.

Replays are desynching for me though - my runs where I almost die are showing up as deaths, and the replays I've watched from the leaderboard are coming up with different scores.
