My framemeister is working perfectly and i am in love with it
However, for the moment i use component for the PS2, i read several times the scart might be preferable over the component and i do feel the component image i see isn't up to snuff. So basically i want to try and see the difference for myself.
So i tried hooking it up trough scart and change the console to RGB. I do get an image but the signal keeps being dropped by the xrgb mini.
It cant hold the image for more than one or two seconds. I modified the sync setting all the way from 0 to maximum but it just wont work.
Now i live in Europe, so i have a JP21 to euro scart converter. The PS2 however is an NTSC model (several good games were only coming out in the US.)
The scart cable itself is an original PS2 scart cable. Bought here in Europe. So i wouldn't think it would be different then and the cable works fine if i plug it into the tv directly.
Anything i can try to get a stable image on the framemeister ?
P.S. Can anyone recommend a cheap scart block (several scart connections to one scart out to the framemeister) that works perfectly. It doesn't have to be an automatic one.
I have a scart "merger" (what is the correct term) that supports full RGB, but when i plug my consoles into it it has a faint ghosting image on it. Once you notice it you cannot unsee it ...
