Way to buy into an obvious troll.
Why would you do that?

People are having a serious, civil discussion about the podcasts they like and for some reason you feel the need to walk in to the room and take a shit on the floor? Is this how you act in real life, or are you only so charming online?
One of the first things you learn when learning to be human in social situations is to reply with "yes, and.." rather than act as a sullen teenager with "no", and "nuthin'" as a reply. If you have nothing to say, or contribute, why hit the "reply" button? Just to let the world know that you're a dark, affected nihilist, and find joy in nothing aside from prodding others for a reaction?
Congratulations.

You're not strange. You're just a teenager trying to build an identity, looking for attention. Perhaps the third+ child in your family? Perfectly normal, hopefully you grow out of it soon.

Seriously, though. Are implying that these podcasts are going to be of any consequence in 100 years either?
No - I'm implying that nothing that most any of us do is of any consequence. Podcasts included. I'm challenging you to tell me something you do that isn't "pointless" as you put it. We're talking about ways to pass the time. I use podcasts as a method of not losing my mind staring out a train window, or watching the dork next to me play Puzzle & Dragons for ~4 hours a day. Pointless? Maybe. But it keeps me sane.
