2 Hori Fighting Commander 4's dropped at my place yesterday.
I got these mainly for USF4 and GGXRD, and for the other fighting games I have for my PS3, as the standard Playstation d-pad shreds my thumbs when trying to do any sort of rolling motion, and I never liked the 4 face button/2 shoulder button arrangement, even back in the SNES days I would buy the Genesis version of the game because I preferred the 6 button controller Sega made.
Anyways, quick review... the manual is entirely in japanese so I'm not sure what some buttons do, but the D-pad is excellent (not sure why you'd want to rotate it) and the option to remap your L2/R2 buttons to the R1/R2 positions is brilliant. I also thought the assymetric body would be weird but it's totally natural. The only thing is that it's clearly designed for the PS4, and while it works on PS3, the PS button doesn't... so if you want to exit a game or something, you have to reach over to your standard Dualshock 3 and push the PS button on that. Minor detail but considering how well thought out the controller is otherwise... it's a glaring oversight.
