Hi, i score 4,242,183 in default ORIGINAL mode (Stage 4 -no restarts/no continues). i belieive that puts me right at the bottom of the table!

Are we allowed to use restarts in this rank table? as i can usually score much higher using restarts!

Now all of my top 5 scores in Original Mode are 4,6XX,XXX. I'm really stunted with this game. I've been stuck at this brick wall too long.

Started playing less than an hour ago. My order, which I placed at YesAsia, shipeed on November 30 and arrived today--pretty surprising as I chose the free shipping option.

I was going to play on my bed in the Tate position but stopped playing because 1. it would screw up my head orientation and 2. my mind was still in yoko mode.

Ran out of lives on stage 2 in Arcade/Normal mode, and kicked too much ass in Arrange mode (got to stage 5 boss on my first try). Automatic bombs are a crutch.

Arrange Mode
gs68 - 174,592,461 - Stage 5 - Default

Arcade/Orig score isn't worth posting.

EDIT (12/10): Another improvement...

As with last score, I didn't touch the autofire settings.

1st part of final boss = not that hard. 2nd half with its bullets coming from the bottom of the screen = rape.

I think it was default, can't remember right now. I refuse to use the autofire trick, anyways, so I don't really care.
Could have beaten it if it wasn't by 2 stupid deaths earlier on the game =X

As for the other modes, I think I'll wait a bit until I can get a bit better. My Maniac mode score ranges from 20 to 30 millions. It fluctuates way too much =\

I have a 650 million video, which I guess I could put up on super-play.co.uk as an all clear demo.

I've got a much better video of just stage 4 by some unknown player (unknown to me at least) where the guy has 562 million points at the end of the stage. I have 286 million by comparison in my video. I suppose I could YSI for now. Maybe it's Sinmoon's.

I actually have another video where the guy has 703 million at the end of stage 4, but he's using restarts.

Also, I don't think you should be using those rapid fire setting at all in Arrange mode. Your chain grows much faster if you just hold down the shot button all by itself.

I just suck at scoring in this game. Somehow, I've never had it happen before, but I had 145 million or so by then end of level 3. I usually have like 75.

It's funny my score on the table is from the second time I ever played arrange mode, at the shmupmeet. Now that I have the game, my highest is only around 150 million. Talk about beginner's luck.

I still aren't 100% sure how the scoring works.

Went to the true last boss in arrange with 5 lives in stock, and only managed to get its lifebar down to half. Friggin insane indeed.
