Sales curve is english.

They did know their shoot'em ups pretty well, I think their silkworm IV was probably one of the very best shmups for amiga, if not all time..

Are they still around as a games-software house by the way?

What's Silkworm IV?

SWIV.

Some people call it "Silkworm IV", while other people call it "Silkworm In Vertical"

Apparently, there was also Swiv 3D released for DOS & Win95, some time in late 1996 by Interplay.

I remember watching the demo at some store. It looked quite good for software rendered 3D with no hardware acceleration.

It doesn't play very well, unfortunately.

Also, it's more close to Desert Strike than the original Swiv.

They named it like that to avoid copyright problems -. they basically wanted to build on Silkworm's success but that game was from Tecmo.

So, officially in the game SWIV stands for: Special Weapon Interdiction Vehicles, but in fact every amiga user was sold to the game known as "SilkWorm IV"

There is also a "Swiv 3D Assault" which is basically a 3Dfx powered version, but I doubt it adds anything new to the gameplay, other than more polished graphics.
