Oh, Okay. You had a valid criticism, and not some more "wah-wah No More Megaman, fuck u capcom" bullshit that appears on other forums.

I agree that it's buggy, and I understand you being upset, but I think the bizarre collision, and other errors (which are now "features") will make for a wild fucking show.

Also, Daigo and PR Balrog are out.

This is the funkiest evo yet. So many good players. Rumor is that all the previous evo champs have fallen (according to James Chen and his twitter.)

As far as Ultra SFIV is concerned, yeah.

Fuudo is still in winner's bracket. I'd say there's a good chance that he'll win again, but I think Bonchan will take it if he can handle the Fei match.

In other news, MAO won the SF2 Tournament: http://t.co/ysymsNzYI4

I was hoping that would be streamed since the last one was so good. Oh well.

Some of you might have read this but..
Very, very interesting 3-page interview/discussion with the top players.

Daigo even mentions Battle Garegga's rank control, as he feels that characters used by top players are nerfed just because the players themselves are strong. (So it gets harder for them to stay at the top = rank increase)

Overall too, I feel that Daigo is somehow much more open here. Switching from Ryu does wonders, it seems :D

It's never pretty to hear people on the outside try to describe a shooter.

You don't understand anything about ultra, nor about developing a highly-hyped fighting game in a big studio. People like you should not even be permitted to get the new big updates or even free balance patches. Enjoy your vanilla

You cant oversimplify the game development process of a fighting game. Fixing a bug often means creating more in its wake. Players are grateful to have such a solid fighting game supported through and through.

Dude all fighting games have glitches, even the combo system was a glitch from sf2. You can't highlight that one thing and ride the hate train. I agree Capcom should have handled these situations better, but really Capcom have made consistent bad decisions in the past few years. The fact that they let the sf devs update the game every now and again is a miracle unto itself.

P. S. No need to be so rude. I know you are trying to make a point, but you've achieved the opposite with that kind of thing.

Character falling out of a super move? Weird hitboxes? These are definitely catastrophic problems that have never occurred in any fighting game ever before. I too will now become unreasonably angry about it.

Seriously though these matches are making Ultra look tight as hell. I haven't played SF4 since Super, but I may have to give it another go.

This is one of the only few REAL glitches, and this is what I meant by you not understanding big game devs.
Just tell me, how likely do you think that the testers/devs would've found that out? How much time do you think that should be put to testing?
Yeah Justin wong misses a kick. What about that?
And this is what I meant that you don't understand the game.
These teleport issues have been there for ages and happen in situations that anyone would never do in a real match. Elena is supposed to have a tiny crouching hitbox.

How many "glitches" or "issues" have you seen in the game during evo?

Yeahhhhhh I'm going to trust FGC players who see Ultra as basically late beta quality over you guys, sorry. Capcom knew it wasn't ready but released it anyway.

No. The only thing this video proves (and daigo's performance in evo and videos lately) is that daigo's e.ryu is just still shitty.

Alright well thanks for answering my previous questions!
..but i have a new one
Capcom knew it wasn't ready but released it anyway.
How did they know it? Because new, imported characters (!!) weren't in flawless balance straight away? I'm pretty sure they were prepared for this, and it's stupid to expect capcom go "Well.. let's not release it yet. Let's just play and waste money by trying obscure things in training mode for months" instead of patching it later.

It was rushed for EVO. They tried to accommodate top-players by releasing it undercooked, so it could make the line-up.

You act like they maliciously released a buggy game, to spite you, or something. You also act like they aren't going to patch the game in August, to coincide with the physical release, which I very much see happening.

It's been fun watching the EVO streams and playing Street Fighter IV in between during breaks. Good times, good times.

Even more of a reason to stick to ryu. He has straight 6 years Ryu experience. But even still, I'm not falling for all this e ryu hype. Akuma is still more of a solid character imo.

Seeing bonchan do so well with sagat is amazing. Sagat was nerfed wildly in terms of damage, majority of people I've spoken to have spoken very negatively about sagat in the tier list.

Daigo pretty much buried Ryu in that 4gamer interview. I think he'll stick with Evil unless he continues to underperform in future tournaments.

KOF13 is up right now on stream, and it's always one of the most fun games to watch. Starting with Xiaohai vs. Tokido.

Man I wasn't aware how unforgiving KOF13 can be. One mistake and half your lifebar is gone.

The crowd watching Tokido vs Xiaohai in the KOF Finals is huge! Such a hype match with a bracket reset so far.

That was the hypest shit right there. So sad that tokido lost, but for some reason KOF XIII is so fucking hype every year even when the game is not played that much.

Why isn't Skull Girls in the mix? Isn't it supposed to be, like, the proper fighter's fighting game? I mean, they're even sponsoring the event.

There was a small side tournament on the MadCatz stream (where they also showed Guilty Gear Xrd footage afterwards), I tuned in just in time to see the final match lol.

It's a good game, it just doesn't have a large enough crowd yet. Hopefully that'll pick up once all the additional characters are finished and the game is finalized.

Haha, that Super Turbo competition was really good, matches played at breakneck speeds.
Mao playing the crowds as he sliced up the opponents with Claw, awesome stuff.

You can re-watch some of the fights here, including the SF2 ones: https://www.youtube.com/user/FGC2012/videos

Watching Killer Instinct on stream now. Wish this game was available for PS3, looks awesome.
