Yes, eventually. (There was a bug in the game which crashed the game on the last stage, you needed the patch to fix it.)
The trick is to manage your patients carefully by using the Queue commands. If one doctor ever got swamped, shuffle some to another doctor and you'll get through them quicker.
I really enjoyed playing through Theme Hospital, some of the "illnesses" were quite humorous to see. ^_^ Might dig it out again, since talking about it has got me in the mood for it.

Yeah, the speed of the games is one of the things I've liked about the Theme games. Unlike the Sim games by Maxis or the Civilisation/Alpha Centauri stuff where it's more leisurely and the emphasis is on micromanagement, the Theme games feel like action simulation games. It's a shame Bullfrog didn't make more. (I heard rumours of Theme Aquarium a long time ago, but I don't think it ever surfaced.)
Shatterhand wrote:Playing Theme Park in Full Simulation Mode is crazy. There are SO MANY things to look for.... I always played it in the "middle" setting, so I didn't had to keep buying stocks for my stores...
I've always played Theme Park on "Full" settings, as I like the management functions. It took a very long time but I eventually worked out how to build the perfect full-scale park without running out of funds. Take out LOTS of loans as you build, as the amount of visitors is determined by the size of your park, and the amount of individual shops and rides you have. Once you get the park up to a decent size, you start making enough to pay back the loans you take.
I still have my save file with my full-size park completed, making stacks of cash every day.
Shatterhand wrote:And in Theme Hospital, the 2 last levels are just... fucked up. It's like everything goes wrong (and I mean EVERYTHING) at least 3 times in less than 30 seconds while a VIP is visiting your hospital.
Yeah. Emergencies suck. But it wouldn't be a hospital if things didn't go wrong on a regular basis in those games ^_-
You should try Beach Life if you like sim stuff. Making an Ibiza-style beach resort is great fun, as is watching people skinny-dip in the pool at night, or vomit all over the place after a drinking binge ^_^ Best thing is, you can play your own MP3s as BGM ingame, using the in-built MP3 player. I have a selection of trance in a special folder just for the game. ^_-
