His Xrd design is pretty much his GG2 design but better.
also, man -- can't wait to get this on PS3 [although, I might need to get a new one first, mine sounds like a 767 taking off even though I've changed the thermal paste -- the thing doesn't get particularly warm and it's kicking the fans to max, probably will just sell this one as-is]

Is it a Super Slim top loader? Those have been notoriously unreliable. They must have used the cheapest components and manufacturing possible.
If backwards compatibility isn't a concern, the later model of the front-loading Slim with no disc access light is definitely the best version of the hardware.

Nah, it's an old-ass 40GB that I picked up off of eBay BIN for $100. Could probably still fetch that much for it -- it powers on and works, it's probably a cheap fix [that I'm too lazy to do].Pretas wrote:Is it a Super Slim top loader? BC isn't a concern at all, I've got two PS2s right next to it.
