Is there an Arrange Mode in the PS2 version? GC CF had such a mode that gives you popcorn enemies to fight between bosses.sammaza wrote:is it me or is this game just a series of bosses?...Where are the multiple waves of enemies exploding all around me?...all it is is bosses.
am i in the wrong mode?

Bought it tonight, oddly enough EBGames isn't carrying it in my area (they always carry the odd games).
I think it's an OK game, the Euro trance-esque soundtrack fits the game nicely. I hate the timer, though, and the sword -- by using the sword, it basically takes away the fun of dodging bullet sprays. But, after not using it for awhile, I guess Milestone made it so that using the sword is essential for survival.
I think the bosses are really well done, my favorites so far are the second level ones. I had expected the sub-bosses to be some generic kind of fodder for the real bosses, but the camera angles and unique attacks make the fights that more interesting. Playing in Chaos Field and not Order Field is also substantially more fun.
Anyways, yeah, I think it's OK...it really is very reminiscient of Radiant Silvergun, right down to the sword.
