Only $264.65 here and in-stock as well.
really confused because its saying in stock towards the bottom of the screen but there is no purchase button and says "item not available" on the right of the boxart :(
I just checked the jp amazon link and it looks like only private sellers are selling now @ ¥ 39,800 and up.
Last night when I posted the Nippon Yasan link, you could still add to cart and order...
Looks like either Cave has halted the amazon jp sales until the dlc;sticker issue is resolved or perhaps it's just SOLD OUT :?:

I'm guessing it's sold out. Amazon ran out of copies before the "we blew it" message was posted on the site.

cata - if their track record says anything they'll probably release another complete collection down the line.

I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Hello guys!
Well, apparently Cave is now offering a replacement CD (or DVD?) but I'm not sure if they have offered any explanation about the issue.

I think the few of us here who bought the thing are just twiddling our thumbs, waiting for a savior to come forth and hook us up lol.

Well, If the DLC DVD didn't work at all It would be a much terrifying history for us all, but since with a litte patience you can get to download it all...I think we can live with it peacefully.

Damn you, CAVE... :(

It's one thing to enjoy other people's pain.

It's another thing entirely, to drag Michael Jackson out of the grave to enjoy it.

Yay! Mine arrived today. Judging by the box it is probably the "non Kan" collection. I wonder if Nin Nin would help us get the fixed DLC disc if I send back mine.

Instead of sending you back the collection they should send you the DvD replacement. Contact them before doing anything or like Sky Kid said, sell the package qnd wait for a true Kan Collection but I tuess it'll be on another system, I don't see Cave releasing any new game on Xbox 360 anymore.

Cave contacted Nin-nin? By just magically making Amazon Japan disclose every customer's phone number?

And why would they would do this after telling everyone to contact Xbox Support for replacements

totally believable

The soundtracks were a separate pre-order bonus of the original collection, and not actually in the box... I don't think it's fair to call this the "pauper version".

Everyone got the Soundtracks with the first collection as the collection was only sold trough pre-orders via Amazon just like now .

My collection came with a sticker on the side of the box. Is that the one Amazon mentioned that was missing? In that case, did I get the right one from the get go?

EDIT: I made a quick-and-dirty unboxing vid if anyone wants to check it out. I apologize in advance for the shaky camera and breathing noises (the camera was too close to my face :?).

Yep, got the same box with the sticker from nin-nin so I'm still confused as to whether I'm 'missing' anything.

Cave's official product page updated on the 21st of April during Kan's preorder window, adding seven additional pieces of DLC. This DLC was added under the "stuff the install disc comes with" category: http://www.cave.co.jp/gameonline/Xbox36 ... ction-kan/

The newer DLC is in light blue: two themes for Akai Katana, two gamerpic packs for Akai Katana, a second theme for Futari and two gamerpic packs for Futari. I went through the install disc's contents twice yesterday and couldn't find any of this.

In short:

- Kan's install disc not include the newer DLC as advertised, why?
- on booting the disc, it shows the non-Kan splash screen (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BoTIR_TIAAAHFhT.jpg)
- according to an Amazon reviewer, some DLC doesn't even install properly
- according to another Amazon reviewer, this install disc is identical to the previous release's install disc. Even the filesize and dates modified when sticking it into a PC are exactly the same. I can test this myself if anyone actually cares.

To add insult to injury, the message asking people to contact Xbox Support actually says that there isn't any problem with the "contents" on the disc itself. What I'd really like to know is, why do we have to contact Xbox Support? And why do Cave somehow have Nin-nin's phone number? One Amazon reviewer implies they've been contacted and points out that it's an illegal exchange of personal information (precisely what I said in my previous post). This whole situation is a far bigger mess than people on this forum seem to understand.

When I read your first post in response to the email, I didn't quite understand when you questioned why they would contact NIN-NIN (how does this relate to amazon customer information?), but your second post clarifies some of the other quirks in this collection; this is turning out to be a confusing fakakta.

Kan and the previous collection were only sold through Amazon.jp exclusively - "import stores" like Nin-nin, Play-Asia and Nippon-Yasan are buying their supplies from Amazon and selling to you with their profit tacked on top. Because of this, Nin-nin is a customer of Amazon.

Understanding this, the issue is if Amazon shared Nin-nin's, or anyone customer's personal information (phone numbers or otherwise) with Cave without the customer's permission.
