Quick question re: Street Fighter III on the Dreamcast

That's amusing but it looks much more like a hip hop wizard than anything related to R&B.
Re: Quick question re: Street Fighter III on the Dreamcast
Reminds me how for some reason the PAL PS1 version of Capcom vs SNK Pro doesn't use the instrumental "Needle" (alleyway stage BGM) like on DC, so just like on the OST you get to hear Mr. Gangsta Thug's proclamation that he's about to "fuckin' spill." Ain't shit but a bunch a dicks, I tell thee.Pretas wrote:Note that the rap on the arranged version of the Bonus Stage 2 BGM contains the word "fucking." Somehow Capcom got away with that.
Assuming the round doesn't end too quickly, causing the song to restart after the next character loads!
edit: and fuck me, CVS1 had some good choons

Well, I got 3SOE on ps3 since it was on sale, and... Yeah, those menus are plain awful. I feel like I need a FAQ to navigate through them. Thanks for confirming that side bars with achievements cannot be removed. Maybe they'll look less cluttered once I achieve all the stuff... Oh wait, one of them is EVO37Pretas wrote:Not quite. 3SO doesn't have settings for a non-stretched display on HDTVs without the horribly annoying achievement sidebars. It also has ugly redesigned HUD elements and awful menus.
Iron Galaxy greatly improved the quality of their Capcom ports for MvC Origins and Vampire Resurrection, though. Both let you disable the achievement bars without stretching the display over them. D&D Mystara Collection is also a good set of ports, but it's inferior to the Japan-exclusive PS3 version that was developed in-house.

With the two audio packs, it is possible to play with New Generation / Second Impact music (thus changing also manu and stage select themes)... I think every single audio track must be determined manually, these menus are driving me crazy.Skykid wrote:You guys are complaining about the options screen and intro 'rap'? Really?
3rd Strike has barely any actual Hip Hop in it, bar that timid example. It's mostly jazzy break beats and DnB, blending Hong Kong James Bond themes with grinding tech (Remy) forboding bass (Hugo round 2) and wind pipes (Gouki).
It's a seminal ST imo.
What's the opinion on Simon Viklund arrangements?
Re: Quick question re: Street Fighter III on the Dreamcast
I think the remixed tracks are all inferior to the originals, with the exception of The Long Shoreman, Oro/Sean's themeTurrican wrote:Pretas wrote: What's the opinion on Simon Viklund arrangements?

I can't believe this game comes with four separate soundtracks, and they didn't add a simple option to quick select one of them in the main menu. Viklund tracks are in the vault, New Gen / 2nd Impact tracks are in the downloadable content section... Man, what a mess.
