I realized nearly every score here was done with Judge Spear. I can now see why. Also X-medals and the fairy plane on the airstrip level.

Not bad for starting to learn the game this morning. It was pretty satisfying to figure out the game system starting at zero knowledge. I can't say I like the whole X-Medal system, but routing the first two stages to consistently (for my low skill) reach 100k medals has been really interesting so far. (A lot more work to be done on that.) This run lost two lives by Stage 3 but somehow I hit X-Medals anyway, and survived relatively well on Stage 3 (probably due to low rank >.> )

How do you tell which slave ship you got?

the slave is dependent on which ship you did the code on. the big difference between one slave and another is that slaves have the same speed as the base ship.
