Soukyugerentai versions question
Is there really much of a difference getting the newer version or is the original very playable?

If you use a converter:
Just don't press Start in the intro and the game is just as playable (don't recall if there was a problem in practice mode though). Otherwise, the top half of the screen will become scrambled (although it's still possible to play). The other questions you should consider are whether you want a Battle Garegga demo (as in Otokuyo) or some English text in-game when it's not garbled (as in the original).

Ofcourse not, I don't even have a PS1/PS2 system. I just remember the slowdown bothered me (especially by ST4), nothing too serious though.BulletMagnet wrote:You sure you're not thinking of the PS1 port? That one has a good deal more slowdown than Otokuyo, I know (I own both)...haven't played the original Saturn port to confirm though.
