Didn't know that either, neat!

Actually about 14 yrs ago, a Madonna would have been my first candy cab. Was checking one out in person locally.. but last minute decided against it because I wanted to go for a 29" screen. I should have snagged it. Cool little cab and they don't show up too often around these parts.

For such a tiny cab, Madonna's are wicked heavy, way heavier than an Astro.

Don't really know what more there is to tell, tbh. What have you been wondering about?

Gigabyte Brix Pro (i5 version with Iris graphics).

Perfect color match to my Edifier Luna Eclipse speakers. The XBO controller is shown just for size comparison.
The Brix is REALLY small.

Well I had been wondering why all the Irem PCBs had big customs with NANAO written on them, and your revelation makes it entirely obvious why now!

But where did you come across this, and such. I dunno what I'm asking for, I just want more information ;)

I haven't set it up yet, but I'll certainly update on the noise and performance.

- Panasonic blu-ray player with multi-zone blu-ray and multi-region DVD capability. Thanks to that, I can start indulging in those lovely Criterion releases from America.
- Godzilla (1954) Criterion US blu-ray. Includes both cuts of the movie, two commentary tracks, numerous interviews, and snazzy pop-up packaging.
- Harakiri (1962) Masters of Cinema UK blu-ray. Classic samurai tragedy from the director of Kwaidan. Beautiful cinematography, and a heart-wrenching story.
- Tetsuo: The Iron Man/Body Hammer UK blu-ray set. Great release of these demented body-horror/cyberpunk fever-dreams. Also includes one of the director's earliest shorts, The Adventures of Electric Rod Boy, several clips of which can be seen on TVs throughout Tetsuo.

Whoah whoah whoah, I've been trying to see that for ages! I need to find out if this has an American release ASAP.

I'm still so jealous Kotoko hasn't come to the states yet.

Sakigake Otokojuku ps3 fighting game... was a fan of the old tv anime. Had an art style similar to Hokuto no Ken.

It is a far, far different experience from Akira. Speaking of, I'm going to see it on 4/12 in the cinema.

Kino Lorber recently picked up distribution rights to the Palisades Tartan library, which includes the “Asian Extreme” movie collection. So the US should see Tetsuo the Iron Man (plus a bunch of movies like the Hidden Blade, Vengeance Trilogy with a new Oldboy master, Johnny To’s Election etc etc) on Blu-ray soon enough.

The UK release of Tetsuo is locked to blu-ray Zone B, unfortunately. However, Electric Rod Boy is included in SD on a separate Region 2 DVD along with the other bonus features, so a region-free DVD player would be all you'd need to watch that part of it.

Which is very different from the manga, even though it was directed by Otomo. Like two different stories really.

A crime. If I ever meet Sakurai he's getting a deserved punch in the nuts for such a ridiculous omission.

Agent Aika? Isn't that the one where there's a panty shot in like every other scene?

Yup. Aside from that it's also a quite well made OVA series - for what it is anyway. I can think of loads of other fan service shows which just look shit in comparison.
