says "Puchi Puchi Virus", never heard of it myself. Are Jaleco still in the video game business?mosey wrote:I forget what the Japanese DS game is.
Don't really know what more there is to tell, tbh. What have you been wondering about?trap15 wrote:Huh!? Really!? Tell me moreCIT wrote:Irem is a subsidiary of Eizo Nanao, so yeah, good monitor. This explains a lot of things I'd been wondering!
Well I had been wondering why all the Irem PCBs had big customs with NANAO written on them, and your revelation makes it entirely obvious why now!CIT wrote:Don't really know what more there is to tell, tbh. I haven't set it up yet, but I'll certainly update on the noise and performance.I heard they can get really loud when the fan gets going, have you noticed that at all?

It is a far, far different experience from Akira. Speaking of, I'm going to see it on 4/12 in the cinema.Captain wrote:that TETSUO thing (which sounds like great fun!) instantly reminded me to watch Akira again.

Kino Lorber recently picked up distribution rights to the Palisades Tartan library, which includes the “Asian Extreme” movie collection. So the US should see Tetsuo the Iron Man (plus a bunch of movies like the Hidden Blade, Vengeance Trilogy with a new Oldboy master, Johnny To’s Election etc etc) on Blu-ray soon enough.Nana wrote:Whoah whoah whoah, I've been trying to see that for ages! The UK release of Tetsuo is locked to blu-ray Zone B, unfortunately. However, Electric Rod Boy is included in SD on a separate Region 2 DVD along with the other bonus features, so a region-free DVD player would be all you'd need to watch that part of it.Nana wrote:Daigohji wrote: - Tetsuo: The Iron Man/Body Hammer UK blu-ray set. I'm still so jealous Kotoko hasn't come to the states yet.
Which is very different from the manga, even though it was directed by Otomo. Like two different stories really.GaijinPunch wrote:It is a far, far different experience from Akira. A crime. If I ever meet Sakurai he's getting a deserved punch in the nuts for such a ridiculous omission.KennyMan666 wrote: Gonna see if I can return the Circle Pad Pro though since it wasn't used the way I thought with Kid Icarus!

Yup. Aside from that it's also a quite well made OVA series - for what it is anyway. I can think of loads of other fan service shows which just look shit in comparison.ApolloBoy wrote:Agent Aika? Isn't that the one where there's a panty shot in like every other scene?
