Devil may cry 3 just came out.

Tekken 5 (I'm not in love, but it is something to do), Tenchu (some don't like it, but they can go screw---it is wicked hard and very precise),. I mean, that is just in the last month--I really don't even have time to play them since my life is not at all boring (typically I'm in over my head). In the middle of summer with no releases, I can see being bored. How can you be bored now?

That might be true in both cases, but I'm sure there's a few of us who have played Ninja Gaiden and VF4 Evo to death. Variety is the spice of life, my friend...

I am very tired of 'x is better so forget y'. Tekken does not equal Virtua Fighter, they are both pretty different and have the their own strengths and weaknesses.

I mean, back in the day I could have said Street Fighter is better than Mortal Kombat (true), but they are really pretty different kinds of games that each have their own fanbase.

The other problem I've found with the 'x is better so forget y' view is that not only does it exclude y, but so very very often, I disagree on X being the best in the first place. (case in point, everyone hatin' on Tenchu!)
