Sega 32x region encoded?

Are 32x games region encoded?
I know the cart games work fine for megadrive etc..

But i sold my copy of kolibri PAL and miss it now..
NTSC versions are much easier to find..

And was wondering if a ntsc version would work on my pal console?

It just depends on the game. Some games, like Darxide, have region encoding, and others do not. Your best bet is to try the game out in an emulator, lock the region, and see what happens. This is also a good way to check for PAL/NTSC speed and optimization differences.

I got one of those little megadrive /cd players the other day and for some reason only jp games work on that.

its a cute little console..
Wish it could play all my pal games tho

The game rocks and so does the soundtrack!
