Milestone shooter for Nintendo Wii

Post by neoalphazero »

Among the developers on board for Nintendo's new console is Milestone. They've announced a new action title and vertical shooter for the system.

Hopefully details to come. *-neo

Very interesting.

Are we to assume that MileStone are ceasing NAOMI development in favour of Wii development? And if so, are they moving away from the arcades to strictly console releases?

Maybe they'll still develop vertical shooters for Naomi but whatever else they do that isn't as arcade-oriented will be on the Wii. That, and they probably would port Naomi games to the Wii if Sega really doesn't feel like printing any more DC discs, as hinted at by G.Rev.

Perhaps it's an Wii based arcade board or simply tri-force.
I can't imagine that they would port Chaos Field or Radirgy since both are avail on GC and thus playable on the Wii

I'll guess we will have to wait until the Next arcade show for some anwsers

Millestone's next game is on Naomi and is due to be revealed after the Cube and PS2 versions of Radirgy are released.

I had a feeling that we'd finally see their third project after the release of these two ports of Radirgy. So I guess late May or early June then.
