External DVD burner

Post by rolins »

My 250GB hard drive is full. Filled with ISO backups and animes that I've downloaded over the past year. I need to clear up some space soon b/c my laptop is slowing to a crawl that it won't even defrag anymore.

I'm hesitant to go out and buy one because I just don't know which one gives more bang for your buck.

I'm looking for a DVD burner that works with Alcohol 120% and Nero. Plus support with all the DVD formats and most of all reliable.

Any recommendations...?

I need an external burner because I have a Toshiba laptop. Buying an internal burner for my laptop is quite costly, as much as $150. Beside I want to have an external so I can use it at work.

IIRC there are CD-ROM "case" being sold in for mounting a internal Desktop CD drive externally via the USB bus. It needs seperate power supply though. :o

I seen the Computer Dept people of my company using somthing like that. :) Try find one of this.
