yeah, Namco Museum v. 1 has it. I think the PSP Namco Museum and the GBA Namco Museum 50th also have a tate mode for Pac-Man.

No tate for the 50th Anniversary. =(

But it was arcade-perfect, Namco Museum Vol. 1 is weird, the patterns that work in the Arcade are useless on that version.

That applies to the console versions, not the GBA one. However, the GBA one has only 5 games. :(

I'll confirm on the PSP Namco Museum- the Japanese version has it for certain.

Same for the Jakks TV Games Joystick version. I wonder if they are both based on the JP version, or some other version that has different patterns. GET totally doesn't work, so I made up my own patterns. 8)

(By GET I mean the pattern from The Winner's Guide To Video Games (1981) by Craig Kubey. GET is named for George, Ed Bazo and Tom, who came up with it in Davis, CA. There also used to be a Video Master's Guide : Pac-Man from Bantam Books. The whole thing was almost nothing but patterns.)

Keep in mind that many games in the Namco Museums for PSX (I think the Pac-Mans are included) have reverse tate. Vol. 2's Super Pac-Man also has tate.

Damn, Namco Museum for PSX has tate? The DC version doesn't, to the best of my knowledge.
