Is Melon Squash PC shmup demo any good?

I'd like some pros & cons about this upcoming Japanese doujin cute'em shmup PC title by the name of "Melon Squash". Is it any good?

Beware. Melon Squash isn't a shooter. Picture the hoverbike sequences from Mega Man 8 mixed with guns. Better yet, picture the bike sequence from Metal Slug 4 and you have a pretty good idea. You can jump into the air, but you don't fly. Also, the game is really damn easy. I beat it on the first go-round.
