Once the UK PS2 version of Homura comes out in a few weeks, then it may be worth sending emails to Datel's official UK Codejunkies website or posting on their forum, requesting them to release an Action Replay / Gameshark code to turn the blood red. It's probably a very easy thing for those expert game hackers to do with the Action Replay MAX tool.

Metal slug 6 is the first game of the series which runs on the atomiswave platform, and there is no chance to activate red blood (you can change the region code and the language of the game...but the blood still stays whiteTwiddle wrote:I'm pretty sure there's always been a switch for blood on all of the Metal Slug games.
Sad but true.

I have played Metal Slug into level 3 (dont know how much levels it has).
But as far as i have seen the game, its BRILLIANT.
Smooth as hell (no slowdowns, zooming !, big i mean BIG bosses, new slugs, totally new backgrounds in HIGH RES, combosystem, weapon stock, 2 new charakters from ikari warriors, new skill system, brilliant music, a nice story twist (i wont spoiler you), perfect smooth gameplay.
Praise the lord they havent released this title on the mvs hardware (goddamn this would be a choppy mess).
Greetings
