have been lurking about for a few days now, this place is great..! (got some neat mars matrix tips!)
A few days ago I released my first shmup, phoenicas. To cut a long story very short, ts a vertical shooter with a defender element (protect the humans while aliens slteal them away) on top of "proper" combos, chains etc. Influences are exerion, sp.invaders, defender, galaga, -even ikaruga as far as scoring goes. Its at 800x600 and 2d all the way. Tutorial is in the demo.
There are online highscore tables (even for the demo), looking forward to seeing you all there.
BTW, Timo has achieved a great score in the demo, I dont know who you are, but if you're here, let me know!
