How about a shmup with you as the designer?

Hello fellow shmuppers:

How many of you think you could design a better shmup than what's already out there?

How many of you would like to see your design become reality?

Despite your ideas and designs, how many of you don't have the time/programming skill to make your design come true?

I am toying with the idea of starting a shmup project, with you guys as the designer for concept and idea inputs. You would be the owner of the final product, and my team would be consultants. In short, you would be paying us for our programming efforts. If I get enough people interested, maybe we can start.

Let me know if any of you are interested. Of course, it would be too much of a financial burden for one person to pay my team for the work, but we, as a community, can pool a little bit to build a shmup that we all like.
