Got a Neo-Geo CD front loader recently, but it exhibits ghosting on the right side of objects. I did some research, and it seems to be a common issue with front loaders.
I tried tapping the RGB signal almost directly from the DAC (similar to the common RGB bypass method used on AES consoles), but it didn't help at all — the signal is already degraded at that point. Looks like the DAC is the same, as in top loader consoles.
Does anyone know if this is fixable?
I can confirm that the power supply is not the culprit, as it works fine with a top loader without any issues. I've also heard that a recap doesn't solve the problem either.
