TRASHSTORM (EPISODE XLIX)
WHAT THE 'FUTT?

TRASHSTORM IS NOT A REAL STORY.
IS NOT EVEN GOOD FICTION.
IS TRASH GAME REVIEWS.
ALL OF THE GAMES FEATURED WOULD CAUSE A PERSON DISAPPOINTMENT,
ANGER, FRUSTRATION, DEPRESSION, MONEY LOSS INCLUDED.
TO PUT IT ANOTHER WAY: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME.

Hell, it's been a hell of a while since my latest trash game reviews. But it's my old computer to blame for fuck out and keeping me away from writing or posting all because the damn thing gave up the ghost.

The PlayStation Store is plagued with crap, and nothing says "Anything for a Buck" better than Fischfutter by Thomas Claus und Frank Menzel, better known as "Entwickler X".

Looks like you are on the menu of the big fish behind you.

Remember Flappy Bird and the plethora of clones that PLAGUED the Android store? Well, here's another one, but for your PlayStation 4 and 5. Fischfutter, also known as Fischfutter: Fishfood is the same but with a fish. The objective of this game is to pick stars in order to avoid the big fish that will appear behind you trying to eat you up. Each time you pick a star, your fish will gain speed, and this is where the navigation will require you to avoid obstacles like the surface and the jellyfish that will instantly slow you down, making you vulnerable to the big fish.

As you pick stars, a worm bait will gradually drop and when you pick enough stars, it will be within the big fish's mouth, so he can get eaten, making the big fish to retreat, allowing you to gain more time and regain your speed with the stars. As a Trophy Milker, the game requires you to obtain 50 stars and feed the big fish with the worm before your fish meets its existence crushed on its teeth.

The underwater run

Graphically, at least it brings some quite nice 16-Bit graphics despite being a bit overpixelated. A signal that low-budget can at least try to make more. As for the sound, we only have a silly cartoon-like tune for the whole game with some cartoon sound effects like the "Bonk" like sound when you're eaten as if the game tries to bring a cartoon-like atmosphere to the game.

FISCHFACTER

- The game title means "Fish Food" in German.

Typical closing thoughts for a game like this.

Overall, we have another, another, another, ANOTHER example of trash plaguing our beloved console just for the sake of easy Platinums, but what's even worse is that this could easily pass as a free game. I mean, if this was a free game then I would be less rude with the review, but we're talking about a game that costs half a buck when it didn't deserve that price tag. 50 cents for this still feels like a steal. Well, I know is not as much as Sonic Wings Reunion which cost me 35 bucks, that was a fucking heist in comparison with this game.
Seems like their "crackdown" on Shovelware (both human and AI) didn't help enough. I think this is where that Turnstile crap should really be applied, on verifying if a game's good, not on forums.
Spoiler
Just a moment...

PlayStation Store
Verify your game is not Shovelware by completing the action below.

[ ] SUBMIT YOUR FUCKING GAME FOR VERIFICATION

So, anyway, 1 R-9 out of 10. You know you were expecting that score for this shit: Image
