Music: if you like band "x", who else would you li

I'm a huge Doors fan, and didn't really know of any bands that even sounded remotely like them, until I got my hadns on some Iron Butterfly (great stuff beyond Da-Vita). So what I'm looking for is some more good psychadellic hard rock sound via the 1960's. Or a group that "sounds like the doors.", either current or from that era.

Since there are so many music fans here, I thought I'd be a good place to ask..........
